Maybe because he had like 1000 qb hurries last year. I wouldn't be surprised if he had like 17 or 18 sacks and over 20 tfl this year.

Montgomery is the better football player but Mingo has the ability and skill set to be an elite pass rusher and pass rush is the second most important thing to NFL teams nowadays behind QBs

You can't teach speed like Mingo has at his size. He's a perfect fit in a 3-4 scheme. We're all lucky he knew this and still chose LSU.
