Work stoppage coming?

Since the players have to appeal directly to Goodell and his lawyer, per collective bargaining agreement, along with Goodell basically telling the NFLPA to f*ck off for their information requests, what are the odds the NFLPA initiates a work stoppage?

No chance of a work stoppage unless the NFLPA wants massive civil damages since they just signed a new CBA.

Honestly, I've never thought about this before.

Seeing as this is an overall problem, the discrepancies in punishment for similar actions, Vilma is suspended for the bounties and not lying. It is the NFLPA's stance to protect all players from unjust punishment, player safety and fairness for players.
So that is why I asked the question. I for one DO NOTwant a strike, I love foozbawl

It would be far worse representation for the NFLPA to sacrifice billions of all its players' money than to stop work over injustice to four players. It will support them tooth and nail through the appeals and legal process, but to ask the players to walk out would be completely unjustifiable from a fiduciary standpoint.

This is the thread for which the "NOT SURE IF SERIOUS" meme was created. Everything on the internet has been leading up to this moment.

You could poll the Saints players who weren't suspended about whether or not they would be willing to sacrifice their salaries to strike, and you'd get a 100% response of "frick that".

Check the NFLPA's statement regarding the punishments then laugh.
