How does everyone feel about the Black Power Ranger being black?

On top of that, the White Power Ranger appears and he's more bad arse than anyone else on the planet.

Met the guy who played the black power ranger. He said the producers were middle eastern and didn't know anything about american culture. He said his lines were completely offensive before they were forced to rewrite them.
I think his first appearance in the show had him carrying a boom box on his avoided, walking with a limp, and saying "yo, yo, yo." Or something.

Yellow Ranger = Asian
Black Ranger = Black
Red Ranger = Native American
Pink Ranger = Girl
White Ranger = Easily the most badass and saves everyone.

I thought the same thing until I watched an old episode a while back. They are simply awful.
