I don't even have a favorite character anymore. Every character is great. . .even Rawls and Burrell.

Season 2's story was weaker than 1, but ended well. I was even sympathetic for Ziggy in the end.

Season 2 doesn't get enough love. It really built the drama that was to happen in season 3

No, it is easily the best and maybe you'll appreciate more later.

The beginning of season 2 is a little slow. However, they really tie it together towards the end of the season. The last few episodes were incredible.

This.

It took me a 2nd watch to realize how awesome it really was. Now I rank it up there at close to the best, if it's not the best. I might feel that way after watching 4 again though.

So, i've read on this board for 2 years now about how epicly awesome The Wire was. blah blah blah. greatest drama on television ever...

Decided to give it a shot over the weekend, started Season 1, Episode 1 Saturday morning around 9.

.....finished Season 1 by 3AM Monday morning. Couldn't stop watching. Am now 5 episodes deep in Season 2. And am pushing the show on as many people as I know.

couple of things that saddened me so far.

- Wallace getting killed by those punk arse jealous other pit pushers. They violantly backstab murder Wallace, then feel depressed when DeAngelo hangs himself a season later. the frick?

- DeAngelo getting killed/hanging himself. What the frick Stringer? You want to frick his wife for a few years while he's locked up, do so. You don't have to kill the man tho.

- McNulty....needs to get his shite straight. I mean I understand the dude pulls serious arse all the time. Typically average looking arse, but regardless his exwife is fine as hell.

- Greggs, Keeva. Was gonna be pissed if she got killed in Season 1. Glad she survived.

- I'm ready for Avon to get out and find all the shite Stringer is pulling then put that bitch in his place or end him.

- I'm on episode 8 of Season 2 and have a feeling my boi Omar is gonna get whacked sooner or later. I like that character. Him wearing that tie in the courtroom when they gave him a check for a suit was hilarious.
