Look, I sincerely hope that this information turns out to be wrong and it's not him. I've been adamantly opposed to Jones since day one last week. But when I'm told that I should expect what I don't want to happen, I can only infer one thing: Jones.

I have no clue. He is lower on my list than Johnny Jones. Chris Collins isn't very high either.

I've been a firm Alleva supporter up to this point. I still think, at the time, TJ was a solid hire. The last few hires have been good, even with the softball guy/bitch screwing us. But this changes my perception.
At the end of the day, our success on the football field is all that matters for Alleva's job though.

Hiring Jones will make it sound like we just "settled" and listened to the old guard of the program. I would support Jones if he's hired. I think we all would. I just believe the program needs some new blood right now.

I'm going to support him. But my leash is going to be a pretty short one. If he can't cut it on the recruiting trail early and often, my support will wane in a hurry.

I'm not saying I want JJ, but TJ was the new blood. That's why all the people in power want old blood now. They want LSU connections over everything else with this hire.
