Gained

Kurt Warner, Brett Favre
These guys have never complained or whined about being "targeted" and have even stuck up for the Saints. If anyone potentially has cause to complain, it's them. But then again, these guys are champs and know how to act like it.

Sean Payton, Mickey Loomis
Yep, you heard right. As much as I respected them before, and yes I wish they had done some things differently, I like how they've handled themselves throughout all this. The league and media reactions have been so overblown, I couldn't be mad at SP/LM at this point if I tried. I definitely like that they're not rolling over and laying down.

Jabari Greer
As much as I respected him before, for a while he was the lone voice defending the Saints when no one else would and was willing to go on air and take the heat.

Joe Horn
Same as Greer; I love his passion.

Lost

Turley
I thought he was a WhoDat but turned out to be nothing but a poser.

NFLN
Do these asses (excepting Warner and maybe a couple of others) realize that the Saints are a NFL team? Hello! McFly! I've pretty much quit watching them.

Didn't Lose Respect Because I Never Had Any To Begin With

"Dean Wormer" Goodell

Espn and the rest of the media

Honorable Mention

Vikings fans-What more is there to say? They're the gift that keeps on giving.

Gregg Williams definitely has to be in the "lost" category and I don't even mind the bounty program or the language. What I mind is the insistance on running it even after all of the warnings and it's huge lack of success the last two years. Also, saying that stuff with outsiders in the lockerroom wasn't bright either.

Favre is the only person I would call a legitimate "victim" of bountygate.

Yeah, his offensive line should be arrested for sucking so badly in that game.

Exactly, the whiny Vikings fans should explain how their team is the only one in the 3 years to have their QB get hit over and over again.

Mainly just the media, ESPN and NFL network. ESPN lost all respect I think last year with the lsu-ala situation at the end of the season , im not saying alabama was not the best team but they did not deserve a second shot at LSU in the same season and thats why they lobbied so hard because they knew bammer was tge only team that had a shot at beating lsu last year , and I can't stand NFL network now with they way they keep prying at players to see it their way by repeatedly asking the same questions

Spot on. I agree with this post 100%

As far as the Vikings fans, I've always hated them, but didn't think they would be continual whiny bitches wanting our super bowl handed to them

He did stick it out though, gotta give him credit for that. I would have thrown in the towel long before that.

Favre did indeed. Like him or hate him, he is one tough SOB.

He just needs to get into coaching. He'd be a helluva position coach in the NFL, but he's the worst NFL commentator out there.
