i honestly think it might be a tough weekend for them. but even if it is it probably wont change my opinion.

Let's say we take 2 in gainsville. Than Jones, Katz, and maybe Nola really start coming on offensively in the weeks that follow. Wouldn't you agree given our pitching staff that this team would have realistic super regional potential?

to answer your question they are probably anywhere from 2 to 5 in the conference this year. its tough to say and it fluctuates so much week to week.

its not an easy question I know, I just seem to remember having a better "feel" for where we stood in conference and the nation. I also don't see this team as having a persona like other LSU Teams and really not since 2009.

I would say right now we are behind only UF, UK and USCe and the legitmate 4th best team. If our bats can wake up, I think we are behind only UF in terms of post season potential but that could change this weekend. Yes, I'm aware I sound extremely bad off on homerism

I think we are the Notre Dame of baseball. Consistently overrated. Not trolling, just answering honestly.

I understand what you're saying in that LSU gets more respect than they should sometimes, but you went about this analogy completely wrong.

We won a national title in 2009 and 5 in a 10 year span.

That's about where I think we are. We could be a little higher. I think this weekend will show a lot.
