I hope so. Before last year the haters were saying," yeah he wins but only because of talent and you can tell because the games are close when they shouldn't be". Now after going 13-1 with a SEC title while playing one of the hardest schedules in modern football history ,the haters are saying," I'll never forgive him for Jan.9th".

If the result and the score of the National Championship game had been reversed, the usual suspects would be here every day posting how Miles screwed up and how he isn't a great coach because he didn't score more points.

Miles has made most of the true haters/displeased ones look silly for all the nonsense they posted on a regular basis bout what LSU would never do again if he remained and how he was leading LSU football to mediocrity.
After baseball is over and in the dog days of summer maybe we should bump some of those anti-Miles threads that ran wild in 2010 to give us a good laugh...you think.
As to this thread, I kinda think 5 years might be his limit. He seems like a guy who knows there is more to life than college football.

it is an incredibly stupid thing to think tho - notre dame, nebraska, florida, florida state, texas, alabama will all tell you a sub-par coach will get you almost nowhere

False. Inevitable that he has a 7-5 season between now and 2019. Fans will call for moving signs if that occurs. I am not saying it should, but coaches and MLB players have about the same shelf life...eventually they find better contracts elsewhere or they just hang it up.
