Is there a better example in Baton Rouge than Sammy's?

People complain about the lot at my work, but since I don't dine there, I don't know. I do agree Sammy's is horrible though. I'll ride the lot looking for a spot for a long time, get inside, and there not even be a wait.
I know the one in Central opened later than it was supposed to because the parking lot didn't accomodate the amount of seats in the restaurant.

The mall location really sucks, because if you turn in front of the resturant and there are no spots you have to back out...which means you're screwed if there are a line of cars that followed you.

Exactly. Learned that the first time I went there.

So Sammy's and Plucker's are great restaurants? Good to know. The list in any real urban area is almost endless.

Iwouldnt call it great but it's better than most listed already, Drago's in Metairie

LOL. Try Clancy's, Gautreua's, Lilette, Brightsen's, Coquette, Patois... the list goes on and on.

That's why I said in BR not in New Orleans where none of the great ones having parking lots. Remove head from butt, read the OP, then post.

in BR. little village, stroubes, ruths chris is kinda shitty on the side of the building, ginos can suck if everyone is driving suvs or just parking like idiots.

Not in thread title. Bow to the current holder of the Emeril.
This thread is nothing but shite.

damn glass... that was funny..
Not really a restaurant, but given the OP... That snowball stand on Magazine (kinda by popeyes), that has that fricking 2 ft. parking pole behind one of the 4 spots... blows hard!!

I'm sorry for considering Sammy's a great BR restaurant. I guess I still have a high from the awesome crawfish I got there yesterday.

I would imagine 95% of their business is walk-ups.

Most (all?) of those dont even have a "parking lot". Dragos actually has free parking but ive never been able to park in there.

No doubt, but when the line is too long at Hansen's, I sometimes have to improvise (and yes Ive backed into that fricking pole).
