It would be funnier to call him Lynn Rollins.

Monkeys probably laugh at them at the zoo realizing their pathetic existence is worse than eating their own vomit in public.
As much as people make fun of him, he probably has accomplished more than those laughing and leads a happy life while those ridiculing him are merely arse clowns looking for cheap laughs to somehow fill a void left by their inadequacies .

Boom?

But seriously, lay off Jim. There's this belief that LSU can always do better than the coach we have or the PA announcer we have, or the play by play radio guy we have.

how about just being happy with the actual product that he's broadcasting to us and not pick on minute details.

Honestly, the bluegrass miracle (and all of the blunders that y'all speak of) account for about 1% of all of the time he's spent on the air. That's not a bad margin of error.

ND was actually kicking the FG.

I was 11 years old and got too nervous to watch the final drive on TV so I ended up listening on radio.

Ward's call was "The kick is up and it's good.... No it is not good, it is not good." I got mad and yelled and didn't hear the correction. I didn't know what happened until my uncle called me in the living room to see the replays.

Even when I see people post "Jack Hunt" as a reply on a message board after all this time, I just have to shake my head. It was funny for a few days after the game, but it lost its luster pretty quickly for anyone who engages in original thought.

In my opinion this is exactly why it IS funny. What if we are still doing this in 10 years everytime Devery Henderson is honored on the field for a reunion team or something? Or when Jim Hawthorne dies in 4 years you know there's going to be some prankster who does something Jack Hunt related haha.

Got mine hanging next to the Mike Hunt painting of the Tiger grazing in a field of pink and purple daffodils.
