this thread will probably have multiple spoilers, so dont read if you care a lot about anything.
has anyone ever ruined something for you, that you were actually really mad about being ruined? i have never had anything actually be spoiled for me, so i consider myself lucky.
but someone ruining lost for me would have pissed me off pretty bad.
what has been spoiled for you and how mad were you?
ETA: that was a lie, my ex ruined the ending of SAW 1 for me.... i was pissed because i knew the ending was something good

When I was really young my older brother spoiled the Luke/Vader relationship thing (you know what I'm talking about) in Empire Strikes Back... while we were watching it. I didn't realize the magnitude of it until much later in life.

The six sense was spoiled for me by a guy at the movie theatre before I saw it. Sucked I went into that movie knowing the twist..

David Letterman spoiled the end of The Crying Game for me and the rest of America. I've still never seen it.

You know what would be hilarious...
You walk out of a movie and all the other people are waiting for it to be cleaned so they can go in and watch the next one. Then someone walks out and yells. "(Main character) dies at the end!!!"

I was working at this camp and I bought HP Half-Blood prince. This butthole I worked with flipped through the book while I was in the shower. I walk out and he tells me who dies and who killed him. I was so pissed.

A buddy of mine spoiled the season 1 finale of Nip/Tuck. I was working and was going to watch it later and he knowingly called and told me what happened. I made it a mission to spoil several things on Lost when I knew he was watching on Dvr. When he wouldn't take my calls I called his girlfriend and told her that I didnt need to talk but just tell him "Ben kills Locke." She didn't watch so didnt realize what i was doing. I heard him scream frick when she relayed the message. When he called me later I told him "that's what winning looks like".

too many times to count.
SPOILERS BELOW FOR ...
The Sheild
Game of Thrones
Boardwalk Empire
Both on this board. Someone in the Boardwalk empire thread compared Ned Stark's death to a death in Boardwalk before I had seen Game of Thrones. Ruined the first season and the first book for me b/c I kept waiting for that moment.
The Sheild... I told someone I was on Season 2 watching The Sheild as I had bought the whole series on DVD. His response... "Dude, you are gonna be pissed, they kill Lem with a grenade". Different person said, "i'll never forgive them for what happened to Ronnie". So I watched the all seven seasons waiting for Ronnie to get fricked only to realize that it happens with about 10 minutes left in the series finale.
Every thread involving The Walking Dead.

Enigma spoiled The Walking Dead for Cocomo.
I had a Sopranos moment spoiled for me the other day. Thought it might be safe to go into a Sopranos thread since I was almost done with the show. I have no one but myself to blame.

Started watching Game of Thrones, saw the meme "Brace yourselves, season 2 is coming" with the beheaded Ned

I think this board ruined the finale of LOST for me, but not sure if guy was serious. I read a thread that was supposed to be about season 1 and somejackass said something about the end of the series....
SPOILERS
they're basically in Purgatory. now everything in the show paints that picture for me, regardless if it is true or not.

Bastards! I always look forward to hearing about reactions to that scene when people first see it. They have spoiled my enjoyment of your anger at Ned's death

a former co-worker ruined Saw for me years ago.
he says... "the dead guy on the floor in the bathroom is really the killer"
it didn't totally ruin the movie when i did see it, but it did suck that I knew what was coming.

**** LOST SPOILER *****
Regarding LOST, purgatory was a theory people had from early in the show. As you have already been potentially spoiled, I will say that the island is not purgatory. I hope this knowledge will allow you to continue to watch the series with an unskewed perspective.

I was so angry at first, but now its just sadness. I just watched him get betrayed by Littlefinger and I was hoping that Littlefinger would end up helping him escape the city.
