I say forget the Manning thing, he has had 4 neck surgeries in 9 months. He is a liability for the offensive line he will be playing behind. Should we take Matt Flynn for considerably less money? or continue to pursue Peyton even though he will probably leave in the middle of the season with injury?

Probably

A little strong there dontcha think?

And if you want to cut ties with Manning itll be because he doesnt want to play with you, not because of his neck

it'd be awesome if he goes to Miami and is never the same again. Especially after they passed on Brees due to his shoulder.

It sounds a bit strong but lets be honest here, the offensive line for miami isnt the best. We are in the bottom half of sacks allowed (being the most allowed) last year. This guy is going to get hit hard, and often. I say we stop the nonsense and get after a franchise qb instead of flash for 2 years MAYBE, if he even gets that far.

If Manning goes elsewhere, stay with Matt Moore and draft Osweiler or Cousins in second round.

That is taking a big "Bust" risk, with Flynn at least you know he is a good qb. Moore is alright but flynn was killing it last year.

Which is the worse decision? Whatever it is, that's what Miami will do.

how much money is Flynn looking at?... he might be an even higher risk considering his lack of playing time, age relative to experience, and money he'll demand...

This is what I would do if I were Cleveland and all the other teams were focused on Peyton. If Miami doesn't think they have a realistic shot at him they would be wise to do it also
