Agreed on the Coleman Extreme 5 day picked a 100 or 120 qt up at walmart for 59 or 69 with wheels. Holds ice well for several days actually.
I think yetis have there place and are well built but for everyday type of use they are a little much.

This! They will keep ice for 7 days easy. I have a 120 and a 150. I have a 300 SSI which is good too, but high priced.

I've got a coleman extreme with wheels that I use as the step on my boat twice a week that I've been using for over two years now. Works great. Rolls great. Keeps ice great. Didn't cost a car payment.

You can kinda see in this pic how perfectly it fits in the space before the deck.
That shite looks like it was made to go there. I like it
What kind of boat you running?

I wish my boat had that. I'm trying to figure out how to use the dead well and bait well, since neither will be used for the stated purposes.

We use our front livewell as anchor, cast net, and rope storage. And sometimes rain gear and stuff. It's not waterproof in the rain though.

This boat had a dedicated anchor well. It drains out the bottom of the boat and has an odd metal cover. Raingear sounds like a good candidate for the dead well. May find a bin with a lid that will fit in there.

Always a good idea. Depending on the shape/size you could possibly get a few and organize whatever extra stuff you like to have that doesn't fit well elsewhere.
I think right now other than the anchor we have a cast net, a few of those wire mesh cricket holder containers, and some extra plugs and stuff. Usually end up putting rain gear, a grocery bag of chips or whatever to eat, bug spray, sun screen, stuff like that. The boat is really limited as far as storage goes though.

I want a bay boat. It'll just have to wait another 6 years or so

Mine will be ready for you.

I'll even change the paint color
Posted on 3/5/12 at 4:55 pm to Boats n Hose
It'll be that or a green so dark you'll think it's black.

Wheels on icechest and boats just don't go together. Thats like bring bottle beer on a boat. One just doesn't do that unless you are one that throws crap overboard.

Two pages and no one asked what's a cooler?
My Yankee coworker calls an I e chest a cooler. Another vote for Coleman xtreme.
