I recently went on a Quail hunt at this place and had an absolute blast, literally, I burned up 3 boxes of shells.
Anybody else ever been to this place?? Way cool..........

I have been a couple of times, the skeet range is also a blast. Are they still serving that quail with the pepper jelly sauce?

Bro, the Chef was pretty cool as well. What a gig he has. Lives on site, from Minnesota and studied under Besh and others in N.O.

My Dad quail hunts there once a month. I'm heading down there to hunt with him the end of this month. Can't wait!

My dog's trainer & breeder goes out there a lot. Steve with Bear Creek. I've never seen the place but I heard it's pretty nice. My dog has been out there with him a bunch of times.

A duck shoot, not a duck hunt
Great place been there several times, have done quail, chucker, pheasant ( both in the field and European tower shoot), ducks and the sporting clays course. Jimbo has done a great job out there and it is impressive to watch it grow

I don't mind hunting pen raised quail and pheasants, but I'm going to pay someone to throw some Ritz crackers out and wait for the trained ducks to come. Its really not a whole lot of fun for me. I like the "hunt" more than I enjoy the killing.
