let the saints gather no moss

I'm not saying he won't be better, but his last season was awful. He was on 3 different teams and didn't do jack on any of them. Unless he has discovered more motivation and drive or something he's done.

After last season, 3 different teams and basically hung up the cleats early on and dogged it after that he is too risky. He couldn't even start for the Titans when he was there.
The allure of him returning to pro bowl form with Brees throwing too him is more fantasy than reality. The thoughts of having an mid 2000's Moss tearing it up is fun though.

He wants to win a ring, only thing he hasn't done so far. Probably isn't even going to ask for much money. I bet he's still a hell of an athlete, put him on a team like the saints, with a qb like Brees, and that could be enough motivation for him. All depends on the price he wants

Little risk, big reward if the price is right. An incentive laden contract might do it. This team has strong enough leadership that if he tried to create a big distraction they would show him the door. He would be a luxary at this point in his careeer rather than the years where if he failed, so would the team.

ok, so the guy had more 50% more talent than any other WR, but only used 80% of it 60% of the time.
So whats that formula look like when he has 20% less talent than most WRs because he's aged?
solve for x. go.

Could he be a replacement for Meachem if we can resign him?
I'll say this, Brees and his receivers work off of timing and precise routes. Not Randy Mosses strong suits. Although he could blow the top off of a defense and be a complimentary jump ball receiver along with Graham. Only if he was really really cheap though.

I saw on NFL network that he wanted to return and my first thought was:
I wonder how long before someone posts a "should we" thread on ST
I'm surprised it took this long.

The only moss I want in NOLA is hanging on the trees in City Park.

Honestly, I think a team like the 49ers would be an ideal fit for him. They want someone to take attention off of Vernon Davis and he'd be good for Crabtree too.

Ok, and Brees is the chemotherapy. Im 100% confident that Brees can keep any pre-madonna WR inline and focused. Players just enjoy working with him

I would not be surprised if Payton and Loomis look at this option. One of Colston or Meachem is most likely leaving, so bringing a proven veteran is always smart. I've always looked at peolpe with locker room issues as being in the wrong locker room. I think with a player like Brees Manning and Brady; you never hear about their locker rooms having troubles. You just need a proven leader. I think Moss would love the chance to compete for a Super Bowl on a proven offensive powerhouse, and one of the most accurate QB's in the history of the game. GEAUX SAINTS!

Yeah Moss was not a cancer with the pats, i think he would be the same here as long he gets the ball. Shokey was emotional like him and he worked out.
