How long can they sustain the cost of rent and advertizing for a restaurant that isn't even open in an already saturated hibachi/sushi market?

I'm not holding my breath on this venture.

I think it'll make it. People love throwing down $10 for room temp. sushi.

Don't you?

lol

In all seriousness, who are they going to market to, the untapped Shanendoah area (this won't sustain them) or will they try to compete with the already existing market? I wish most every restaurant well, therefore I don't mean any harm here, but I just don't see this lasting long...if it finally opens.

I'm guessing you might now more about this than me, but they may close the existing location.

That is a pretty nasty building, and they may just end that one in exchange for the new location.

Yeah, no shite that place is taking forever to open...I was hoping for anything other than a sushi place to open in that spot.

I wish Times Grill wouldn't have shut down...I liked it ok, except for the fact that the same tired arse drunks were sitting around the bar every time that I'd go there..Plus they didn't have a good spot for a Golden Tee.

I just spoke with Nagoya and they said their Cafe will open in two to three weeks.

Interesting.

I just noticed today that they are working on a location in Central, I've never dined there - how is the food?

They are also getting into a saturated market in Central. We have bad chinese, hibachi and sushi everywhere already.

Yes, Mam you are right! Central does not need another Chinese restaurant, nail salon, hair salon OR credit union! LOL
