I am considering going to watch it tonight and wondered if any of you went to an early premier or watched earlier today. What are your thoughts if you have seen it?

75% on Tomatoes.

No, I haven't seen it but I read an interview with Neeson where he said he'd never been so scared in his life while filming the movie.

I'm not much for his acting chops but I'll probably go out of my way to see this one.

If he punishes wolves like he punishes man in Taken, then count me in.

Haven't seen it yet either, but read mostly all good reviews, probaly go Sunday.

Clearly those wolves should not have messed with his daughter. The wife really wants to see this one but it doesn't look that special to me.

this movie just seems so similar to the 1997 Anthony Hopkins movie 'The Edge'

it's on Netflix BTW.

Someone post their opinion if some if the scenes are too "far-fetched"- USA Today's review said they had some "yeah right" scenes. I like outdoor movies but I hate the action ones where you're rolling your eyes the whole time. TIA...

Depends. Hypothermia would have likely set in several times especially once near the very end.

It was a mans movie. Not a metro sexual movie.

And frick any cheese dick who complains about the ending. The ending was fricking perfect.

Isn't Liam Neeson in it? I would watch just for him.

The Grey exceeded my expectations. Though, I honestly didn't expect much. I was suprised. I assumed it would be Liam kicken wolf arse everywhere but fortunately it wasnt the case. Comparisons to the Edge can't be helped because the plots are so similar but the Grey really is a much better version of The Edge. Liam is good. Frank Grillo good. I expected over the top cheese. but was pleasantly surprised.

The Edge was my first thought when I saw this trailer but I'm hoping that it will be just as good. I'm already a big Neeson fan

Man, still thinking about this movie after seeing it last night. Love when a movie does that. Can anyone remember the poem word for word. I can't find it online.

The main character had an odd obsession with trees. He kept talking about the trees this and the trees that. Than at one very important juncture standing by a cliff everyone is at a loss for words and his line was..."look at those trees!" Our whole row lost it

Good movie though aside from the tree fetish.
