Since we're already looking ahead to the offseason, Houston just turned several players into UFAs in an effort to maximize cap space.

That list should be

Thabeet
Johnny Flynn
Jordan Hill
Terrence Williams
Courtney Lee

I like Lee but if Henry does well enough we will be set at SG. I would love for us to get Hill.

One of these is not like the other...

I'd definitely take Lee, as I've liked him a lot since he was at WKU. I thought he got dicked over after the Magic dealt him as part of the Vince Carter trade.

I'd be interested in Hill because of his size. If nothing else, he could be a supporting big along with Smith and Ayon.

Williams appears to have regressed each year since entering the league. Unless we get him for dirt cheap and are using him to replace a D-League guy, he doesn't strike me as a good pickup.

Why is Jonny Flynn so bad I though he was going to be so good.

Williams is the best out of those guys. He just doesn't get consistent playing time.

Williams can't shoot, can't finish, and turns the ball over way too much. No thanks.

I guess you drew that conclusion by watching the 28 total games he has played the last 2 years

He had a good rookie year in NJ but hasn't even gotten a shot in Houston. A player like him needs consistent PT to get going.

I know it's the D league, but he averaged a triple double in the games he played there last season.

He's a career under 40 percent shooter from the field in 106 games

Hollinger-
+ Terrible shooter who struggles with jumper, finishing and free throws.

The bad is anything involving shooting or scoring. While his career scoring rate isn't awful, his percentages are atrocious. Additionally, his buckets come at a huge cost in turnovers -- theoretically that portends well for his future growth, but his rate is so insanely high that it has to drop sharply for him to be a useful offensive player.

He shot 40% the only year he got significant minutes, his rookie year. He had a pretty damn good year for a rookie who only played 22 minutes.

He's played 28 games since. He averaged 14 minutes a game in the 21 games he played in last year. 19 MPG in 7 this year. That's a real great sample size, eh? The dude is buried on Houston's bench who doesn't care to play him. You and John Hollinger are judging his skewed numbers off 28 games? ok

Im basing off numbers where the guy actually got minutes. He obviously has the potential to be productive. You're basing it off the 15 mpg he played the last two years.

Good to see you googled John Hollinger's take instead of having any clue who Terrance Williams is, though

SF from Louisville, played with Samardo Samuels and Earl Clark. Loved him in college and thought he could potentially become a cheaper version of Iggy.

Earl Clark sucks too.

Samuels is the only decent one of the three off that team.

3 games in the freaking d-league is what you are basing it off of.

The TWolves are so fricking stupid. They picked Flynn over Curry.

They could have had Rubio and Curry.

They could have gotten Jennings also. I never understood the Flynn pick.

Big East tourney made him a lot of money. In the 5xOT game he looked like a world beater.

Williams was in the rotation at the beginning of the season(played in first 7 games, but hasn't since then), his minutes are now going to Chandler Parsons.

@ Orlando was the season opener, what a BS schedule.... and I heard Monty Williams say that the Hornets had the toughest schedule to open the season.
