Best was probably 2009, my personal favorite was 2000 though

97 may or may not have had better hitters than 09

09 had great hitting and goooood pitching maybe = or > this years

08 really wasn't all that great personnel wise. Wouldn't put them anywhere near the all time greats.

Average pitching
Average hitting

Everybody just got incredibly hot at the same time.

Whether or not they can be considered the best, the 93 and 98 teams deserve some love in this thread also...

There were some very good teams that year. 2000 was the best IMO
