Pierre Thomas. Hear me out on this. He is our only back that can affect all parts of the offense. When we didnt have him last year in the playoffs we lose to Seattle. This years playoffs loss can be attributed almost completely to the loss of PT. Had PT been in the game there is no telling how our first half offense would have gone. But more importantly had PT not gone down, Payton wouldnt have pulled Sproles from the return game, and Roby wouldnt have showcased his complete lack of football talent. PT is the the second domino after Drew.

I just think PT has more hidden value than any other player on the team. He allows everyone else to do what they do best...And when he is conscious he has great ball security.

This year it would be Sproles, but there are a lot of role players on this saints team. Sproles' skill set would be the hardest to replace, especially for the money.

Not to discount PT's value cause it's up there but guys like Nicks Evans and Bushrod are out there every damn play. PT is in and out with the Give the Ball to Ingram foundation this year.

But Sproles value lies in the areas of the game where he excels i.e. the return game, receiving dont all happen without PT. Sproles is more effective, obviously. PT is more valuable, because a lot of his value lies in the success of other players.

PT is up there. So's Jimmy and Sproles. But my man Jabari had a very good, very consistent year. He's not a lock down corner and not all pro, but he's been the most consistent defender who made plays week in and week out.

disagree, his #s have been very good the past couple of years. He's underrated by the media.

no because he didn't break out until very late last season. if we're talking full 2 years, it's an o-lineman, RB, or WR.

I agree PT is so important in so many ways. He is very underrated imo. Then Sproles or JG.

This year it was definitely Greer IMO. Greer didn't play at a great level last yr but I think he was playing thru injuries.

Pierre Thomas is not our 2nd most valvualble. He does make the occasional bid play on a screen, but he not a very good back.
