Strangely, it seems like the turning point from the wailing, rending of garments and gnashing of teeth occurred when the Gunner Keil news became official. Not sure why at that point.

Before that the place was still pretty much a wasteland of people with complaints, real and imagined, legitimate and illigitimate. We were all pretty pissed. But we're slowly getting over it.

Sure, there are still the hard core Miles and JJ haters. But you can't blame those guys too much. It's a built in part of them and they had to hold their fire for the vast majority of the season while the Tigers were kicking butts and taking names. After the game, they were like sailors home from a long voyage and introduced to the prescence of female companinship. They'll be, expressing themselves for awhile. They'll move on and find a replacement to hate in JJ's place I'm sure.

But it seems like the overall tone is changing back to people supporting the program and getting back to being Tiger fans that concentrate on the good things the Tigers have done and will do in the future.

One doesn't have to hate Miles or JJ to question Miles' decision making in QB playing time.

But I suppose it helps you to disparage people you do not even know because they may not agree with you rather than using reason.

Perhaps not but when the majority of "one"'s posts are all bashing (or disparaging if you prefer) a player and a coach, it sure looks a lot like hate.

Maybe the posters have finally realized that with the exception of Brad Wing every LSU player was outplayed by their Bama counterpart!!! Bama played virtually a perfect game, every play, no turnovers , no penalties, crap ,they even won the coin toss!!! CLM didnt lose it by himself, nor did JJ, nor did the absence of Lee or Hebert. Tom Brady wouldnt have won that game for LSU that night! Bama simply outplayed us! Hopefully the underclassmen learned from that night. :geauxtigers:

People need to stop saying that crap. Bama's D was one of the best in college football history, but maybe 4 or 5 of those guys will be NFL starters. Brady faces 16 defenses/yr that have better talent and are more complex than what Bama put on the field that night. Brady, or any other top tier NFL QB would have picked them apart. It would have been ugly.

there was open receivers all night. Deangelo peterson was so wide open on the completed pass to ODB on about the 5 th play of the 2nd half that he could have walked into the endzone.

we just didnt get the ball to the open guys.

The OP is the ultimate in sunshine pumping, aka "spin control" at its finest (or darkest) manifestation. Pretend all is well. Create an "us" and a "them" on the board. Demonize those who might have differing opinions about the subject at hand, and marginalize them to a sub-class of Rant participants unworthy of anyone's slightest interest. Place yourself on a self-determined plane of "higher" ground, sounding quite reasonable in the process - all the while having a "want" for power and influence at any cost so that you will say anything in order to gain your way. It's a propaganda technique, also quite similar to the Big Lie concept from Hitler's Mein Kampf, who said: "Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it."

So sure, Sunshine Pumper/propagandists, we're all one big happy family now and have completely bought into the party line. Alabama truly is the better team, we knew it all along... not.

I have my "RandallSwag" avatar on order.

Come on Les, we need a mobile quarterback!

Does Les Miles "patronize" the LSU fans when he speaks or rather 'tries to speak'. Why can't he just up front cut thru the BS and admit that he did a poor job preparing the team, executing the gameplan and making adjustments. That coupled with individual poor performances in the game= a terrible loss. It would be refreshing for him to just comeout and admit that. He would gain so much more respect.

I didn't think it was over. And we think Bama fans have issues? LSU people put the "funk" in dysfunctional.

Did you ask BeeFense for his permission to call him out like that?

How are you measuring "majority of posts"? I mean, if you're calculating starting from the time Miles started fricking JL after the Bama 1 game and JJ started shitting the bed at QB, then you'll find a "majority" of my posts to be negative. However, if you measured starting much earlier in the season, you'd find the opposite.

The current situation is what is being discussed. What, you expect us to be talking about how excellent the game plan against Oregon was or something???

Seemed to start quieting down once tbob posted on twitter that all of the locker room rumors were false. Took the wind out of a lot of sails. People still pissed off over how lee was treated. Whether he would have been a difference maker or not...he at least deserved a chance.
