For those of you not freaking out........I salute you

Here's the facts.
We went 13-1 this season ( best record in the nation )
We lost 1 game to a team we had already beat
We won the SEC West outright and were SEC Champs
We beat the Pac-12 and Rose Bowl Champ
We beat the Big-East and Orange Bowl Champ
We beat 7 Top-25 teams, including 3 Top-3 teams
Everyone was STOKED about Mettenberger and Randall before Kiel even considered LSU.
I know that nothing is certain yet, and I definitely want Kiel to be a Tiger. He looks like a DAMN GOOD prospect. I'm one of the folks who followed him intently since the Arky game when he came back for a visit, all the way through the Christmas-time debacle and beyond. I want him at LSU, and I think it would be a good match for him, as well.
At the same time, if he does decommit, there is nothing we can do. The one thing we CAN do, as fans, is stop this "sky is falling-Armageddon style" meltdown that we are having over the Natl Championship Game and a couple of lost recruits.
We had a GREAT season this season, and REGARDLESS of any 2012 recruits, we are stacked and picked for a preseason top-3 ( #1 in some cases ), picked to win the SEC, and on our way to another Championship run again next season. 2011 WASN'T supposed to be LSU's season, 2012 WAS.
So, yeah, it sucks if Kiel leaves, but we WILL work it out.

I am honestly more interested in Randall than Kiel. Not that I think he will be better, I just think he could be exciting on the field

In all honesty, there's been so many flakes, unreasonable, suicidal, illogical, raving, moronic, uncontrollable crying and questioning about "the overall downfall of a program," I don't really care anymore.
I used to enjoy posting on this board but with the attitude of alot of these posters that have come out of the woodwork, I try to just avoid this site altogether. I actually look at the Poli board more than I do the Rant and the Recruiting Board.
If you guys are anything like what you are on this board, IRL, you guys have to be some seriously emotional, miserable people.
Alot of you lost alot of perspective over the past week and it's just downright pathetic.
Kiel can go to Notre Dame all he wants. It's not like it's going to be the end of all ends at LSU. It just boggles my mind the reactions of alot of posters on this board the past week. Like I said, it's been pretty pathetic. ....With the Kiel news, it's going to be even worse and I don't even really care where he goes. I'll stick with avoiding this site.

8 days ago we were #1 and we seemed on top of the college football world. Miles screwed the BCS game and now our recruiting class and several key team members are jumping off the sinking ship like rats. I understand the freaking out. This last week has sucked, large.
