Is there a name for the pitch play we run?

Where the qb pitches it to rb, who then has a full head of steam by the time they hit the line and trucks somebody?
I loved watching Ware run that early in games and then Ford/Blue later after teams were beat up and winded.

In football terminology, it would be called a Toss Dive or Toss Lead.
It's been nicknamed on the rant as "Tive" or "Tead"

Could be wrong, but wasn't it the very first play run? Got blown up in the backfield...

BAMA pwns this play.
To this day i still don't like it. Its very predictable in our hurry up offense.

Correct. Someone knows football. Guard pulls from backside, fullback leads on playside last man on the line.

"Minus Two Yards - Left" and "Minus Two Yards - Right"

I only remember it once in the NC.

Actually it's neither. It's a power play. So I guess you would call it toss power?

Wrong. A power toss would imply that the frontside gaurd (power-side) would be lead blocking on a play hitting outside the tackle.
This play, the RB gets the pitch and heads strait for the guard's arse or btwn G&T (B gap) with the backside guard on a trap-pull. therefore it's a toss-trap

Power toss. Might have run it once or twice against 'Bama but not the 8 or 10 times they averaged over the course of the season.

It's an Iso Toss Trap.
Made popular and effective by Hershel Walker and Bo Jackson.
