So basically he doesnt give two shits about his walkons and his female team manager is more important than them?

This is what I don't get. You see people on ESPN commending him for it too.

Roy Williams is a goon and I couldn't have less respect for a coach. He's been a douche bag ever since he became the head coach at Kansas

Ive seen several coaches do this before, including Coach K- and I'm a Duke fan. There's nothing "classless"about this, its smart and safe. You have to have 5 players on the court, so why risk your star players being hurt or harassed? Find something else to bitch about

Plus, Zeller is so frail that he may have been shattered by contact with an excited fan

Then why didn't Roy stay out their with his 5 walk-ons? Is he not their head coach?

And he is the only coach I've seen ask for opposing team's fans to be ejected from a game DURING the game; and all they were doing was heckling during a free-throw

Coach K has sent his starters to the locker room (but only after they were on the court for a premature court storming), but he has never left the bench himself.

Forfeit and take your whole team off the court then. Must've been an awkward moment in the locker room when they finally made it back.

I'm not sure I mind this. The FSU coach agreed to it I assume.

I remember when IU beat Kentucky earlier in the year and all they could say was how dangerous it was after the game. Not sure how many guys who are 6'6'' or above are going to be injured by anyone but still

It's not the principle of the idea but the way Roy did things. Leave your walk ons on the court to get trampled but bring your stars in?

Then you have the guys saying, "well you have to leave someone out there, you don't want your stars getting hurt"

Agreed, but if that's the case Roy needs to stand out there with them. He's their coach and those are his athletes.

I couldn't have been happier seeing UNC lose by 30 plus to an unranked team.

But yes I am mad that Roy Williams is considered a good coach for what he did

I have a bigger problem with FSU storming the court. Its easier to be butthurt with UNC because of the program than what actually happened

+1000 ... Act like you've won a big game before. Not like the Heels were undefeated, and #1 in the country. They were and overrated #3 team. But I guess that's all FSU fans have to live off of.

They are fricking walk on's on a potential final four/championship team. They should just suck it up. They are lucky to even be on the roster.

Why doesn't Roy Williams suck it up and stay on the court with his players then?

And I agree with a previous poster, FSU has won these types of games before, no need to storm the court.
