My wife's company will match up to 6%. I am told that is pretty good. Is that good, ok, or bad?

If they match at all, the. I would say that's good. I don't know this for sure, but I would think that there are a very small amount of companies that will match your contributions at all, especially right now. Take the free money and be grateful.

At my company they automatically enroll you at a 3% match unless you tell them not too, and they match up to 6% which i take full advantage of

My company matches half up to 6%. So I'm putting in 6 and they're putting in 3.

The company I'm about to start with matches dollar for dollar up to 5%.
On top of that they put a % based on my age. Less than 35 is 2% and it increases a .5% every 5 years capping off at 5% when I reach 60.

My company matches up to 4% but we also have a defined benefit retirement plan.
