You know times have changed when TE's are being spoken as first round picks.

I wouldn't say 1st rounder. It depends if its ppr or not. I would consider both in the 2nd and a def in the 3rd. Too many good RB and with the way the QBs played this years you have to throw a few of them up there even tho I'm not one to pick a QB in the 1st

I was going to make a thread like this, but I used the search function and found this gem instead.

I have a feeling that in my league Graham especially, will go very high. It's a league with about 7 Louisiana natives so the focus on the Saints and him is high. After he goes, Gronk will be right behind him. I could see someone taking him early 2nd or mid-2nd.

I might be the one who reaches for Graham in the 1st depending on where I pick. But I don't know really, at that spot you could take a top 5 WR, a top 5 QB, or a top-5 RB (usually the 1st round is mixed with picks of both instead of your antique way of RB-RB-RB-RB-RB). Just depends on who has been taken, but I don't think it would be too crazy to take Graham in the late 1st or early 2nd.

Brady brees Rodgers McCoy foster mjd rice
Cj welker cruz aj fitz s.smith white should IMO all be taken ahead of them.

I would then throw in gore, dmac, stafford, rivers, manning as probably being taken ahead of them.

If you have a late pick and get them at the end of the 3rd,early 4th, your team is looking great and I would bet you win the league. With that said, taking them in the 1st/2nd is a stretch IMO, they will probably average 2.7-3.5 in most leagues.

I'm also not a huge proponent of reaching on a qb/te due but I would definitely go with Brees/Graham if given the opportunity. Dude looks for him constantly.

Gronk maybe. Aaron Hernandez could be "the guy" next year. Plus the could add a potent WR

Absolutely.

Brady won my league for me. I was happy with my team when I drafted them, but down the stretch Brady was the difference.

I personally would not, but it depends on PPR and where I picked in the draft and how many guys.

If it was 12 guys PPR and I picked around 9-12 I might would.

I usually take Brady, Brees or Rodgers with my first pick because I have picked late usually. However if you pick 1-5 Elite RB is a neccessity.

I usually pick around 6-9 though so. But if 9-12 I might would especially if PPR

The two highest scoring teams in our league last year had graham and gronk on their teams. I had graham and it basically gave me an extra starting roster spot. Graham would account for my opponent's TE and one of their WR almost every week. Luckily I have Graham locked down for a couple of more years, but those guys give their teams a huge leg up IMO
