New option plays? He only knows two. The read
That third option play will be the charm!

Why stay after the way Les mishandled players and the offense all year?
Why support LSU if you have nothing positive to say about the program?
Maybe he's saying Les needs to wake up and see what the real problem is on the team. Why would you bother asking a guy to stay for his senior year if you don't plan on making use of his talent?

Do you seriously believe that Shep will read this thread and base a life decision on what a random poster says?
No, not specifically Shep...though that cat does seem to live on the interwebs.
My point is more about the atmosphere that is creating this really negative echo chamber in around the program. You could see Shep talking about getting ridden by fans DIRECTLY on his Twitter feed yesterday.
It's already established that this place generates opinion...or does the Honey Badger nickname thing not ring a bell? What get said here does have an impact...regardless of how small...and it seems that taking shots simply to hear the keys on your keyboard click doesn't really add anything but bile to a situation that is best left to cool off on it's own for a while.
At this point, is anyone adding anything new with comments like this, or is it just continuing to curbstomb a dead horse?

Great news if he comes back.

Hope he comes back. I will always be a Shep fan regardless of what the future holds. He helped recruit half the guys on the team right now.

Yeah and we heard all the complaining about it each week we were blowing out teams.
I am getting so tired of the S*** you keep posting...Did you even watch any games this year. There were 3, count them 3 games, where the Tigers offense did not crank a lot of points (and they won 2 of those)- points (without huge yardage needed) due to shortened field because of exemplary special teams play. We outscored, by a large number of points, the so-called High octane offenses of Oregon, West Virginia and Arkansas.
I started to respond to you in another thread yesterday as I saw you have only been posting on here since the Ship game, bu. Get a life and/or go back and see how successful this team in ALL three phases have been with a few hiccups along the way.
BAMA just played outstanding (See Florida Florida State rematch) Give them there due. Even Bobby Bowden said LSU had little chance of winning this game.
LSU 8 - 0 280 (PF) 67 (PA); 13 - 1 500 (PF) - 158 (PA).
500 points - even with, I think 8 tds by Special teams and defense, led the SEC in points. It is a TEAM game three parts - Offense, Defense and Special Teams.
SEC West Division Champs, SEC Champs Time to move on. Enough said... as it is written so it shall be!

Les shat in the bed. NO prepartion. Clueless for adjustments. LSU needs to get an aggressive offensive genius and takes Les' hands off the play calling. Let Chavis run the defense, OC run the offense, Les the recruiting. Deep balls, Shep to be like Harvin.

Maybe RR is pulling a Brandon Lafell. If he knew he was leaving, why wouldn't he have joined Mo and Brokers at the presser?

Why you gotta turn this into a JJ/JL thread?!
Too soon?
That being said, I hope Shep stays. I've always loved his attitude and thought that his impact on the team was way larger than the stat lines show.

You sir, are a moron. Miles ran a "my players are better than yours" offense that switched from about 60%Run 40% pass to about 85% run 15% pass when he put Jordan Jefferson in. The team finished with 77% run in a "pro-style" offense.
That, in a nutshell, is severe mismanagement of talent. Especially when you have NFL talent at WR AND TE.
I'm so sick of seeing people defend Miles. 80% of the entire nation is laughing at this situation.
Go look and see how we scored and when we scored. We went from winning 35-7 by midway through the third, with a nice blend of running tds / passing tds to comming out and having to leave our starters in the entire game to reach 42-7 so miles could say "see, told you JJ is the right QB."
This finally blows up in his face - and morons like you are going to come on this board and act like YOU ARE SICK OF SOMETHING? REALLY?
PS - I don't see Shep playing over OBJ / JL / Avery Johnson ... regardless of whether or not RR comes back.

If LM can get both RR and RS to change their minds and come back next year I think we will get back to the NC game. Those guys are big time leaders one by his play and the other by his attitude. He will amaze me once again if he can convence those guys to come back.

The rant was created to "rant". If everyone just nodded their collective heads in agreement it would be a boring place. Shep obviously feels underutilized, thus his tweet and thinking about going pro. Most rational people would see where he was coming from. Miles is obviously trying to get him to change his mind. Well, Miles is the one person that can get him more involved in the offensive gameplan, so that is on Les. Nobody here is close enough to know, so they are just throwing their own opinions around whether or not Les will keep to his word. That's not been his strong suit of late.

Holy shite...those are all quality points! You know what? I think it's a damn shame this type of football prowess isn't being utilized by LSU. Since we're both such fans, I formally request you bring this information directly to the Athletic director so that you and he can sit down with Les and get this bullshite straightened the frick out!

We'll all await a report from your meeting with them.

Is there a Tiger Sports Discussion board you could point me to? I'd love to keep talking about LSU sports, but I really have no use for ranting for ranting's sake.

I'm sure there is someplace to go, but not as popular.
The LSU fans are the best and the worst.
LSU is unique in that most fans never attended the university. It is state pride to follow LSU, so they are treated like a pro team. That is good and that is bad.

Pretty sure SHep is smart enough not to buy that. He knows Miles. The reason he should come back is his teammates and the potential for a dynamic offense.
