No question Shep should stay, if Tolliver didn't even get drafted then I put Shep's chance at getting drafted at about .1%.

Heard that as well. I didn't see any of what he was talking about, but I was pretty distracted by the levels of suck elsewhere.

Next year's offense should be built around pounding the ball, play action deep to landry & ODB, slip screens and sweeps to shep. Assuming RR doesn't stay.

Alright, I'm curious as hell to know what clm had to say to shep.

"we're gonna air it the hell out next year"

"sorry for that piece of sh@t gameplan we rolled out in the bcs"

"we didnt have a guy that could get it to you, honestly"

What was RR's hurry? Takes a while to get 9 bama players off the QB. I got jokes!

I only saw it on two plays where I thought RR was clearly disgusted with the blocking/"passing"

I, personally, think this is reactionary. Hopefully he'll calm down soon enough to come back to LSU. LaFell did this a few years ago before coming for his senior season.

Shep likely won't get drafted very high, so it's worth taking the chance, but counting on Les to actually use him as a weapon is asking a lot.

I saw one of the offensive coaches today, he told me Shep is staying.

I wish he would've spent as much time working on a gameplan as he is trying to get unsatisfied players not to leave.

Funny quote from the story:

"Tigers coach Les Miles visit Randle and his family in Bastrop on Wednesday night. Less than 24 hours later, Randle filed the necessary paperwork with the NFL. There is still a chance that Randle may withdraw from the draft. The deadline for withdrawing is Wednesday."

That, coupled with that 3rd rate Toliver blowing up his Twitter, no wonder he is leaving.

In what way to comments like this help LSU? Wouldn't LSU benefit from having these guys back, or are you just lookin' out for them?

Do you seriously believe that Shep will read this thread and base a life decision on what a random poster says?

Thinking the same thing! Les is probably in his secret lair underneath Tiger Stadium designing new option plays for Shep to run and telling Mett to work on learning mop-up duty!

I doubt Shep would be drafted at all.

1- He needs to come back
2- We need to use and develop him properly

I am not saying he is a legit pro prospect but we have not done right by the kid yet

New option plays? He only knows two. The read option and the option to the short side of the field...

Why stay after the way Les mishandled players and the offense all year?

Why support LSU if you have nothing positive to say about the program?

i'm doubtful as to whether he'd be drafted at all.

i suppose someone could take a late round flyer on him.

more likely an undrafted free agent in my mind.

He'd be drafted in the 7th round, at worst, based on speed alone. See Bennie Brazzell.
