None of this would be an issue if JJ's dad had come to his senses and pulled out.

Boone already filled out or is in the process of filing out paperwork to transfer. Shep is the only one to salvage, even though it's not going to happen imo.

I hate losing Shep. Great Tiger and leader off the field. Hopefully he stays.

I hate losing the others to, but they were somewhat expected.

I think overlooking James Wright's potential is a mistake. This guy will be a producer next year, along with Landry and OBJ.

At least we still have ODBj and Landry.
I think they both will be really good receivers, but they are a little on the small side.

I wish we had a few WR with height/size like Toliver, Bowe, and Clayton.

I actually think we get both back. Call me a glass half full kind of guy.....

I mean lets think about this. We aren't going to have a mobile QB next year. Big Z aint that guy. I understand why JJ ran the offense he did and why he threw the ball as little as he did and why that would be so frustrating for top flight WR talent.

Big Z HAS to throw the ball and throw the ball often for us to have another great year (and I say another because 2011 was a GREAT year) for us to be successful. That's what he knows how to do and that's why hes here.

We will not be able to run the ball and play defense ONLY. That'll work in some games but not all of them, not the big ones.

Big Z needs WRs and now RS and KB are probably 2 of our top 3 options going into 2012. I see a dog fight between those two and Landry and ODB jr for starting spots.

In short, they'd be passing on a huge opportunity to leave at this point. RS to improve his stock and KB to obtain some draft stock.

maybe their best sense is leaving.

they know more than any of us do. I trust they will make the best decisions for them and their families.

Bc we had a good passing attack the last time we had a competent qb

We had a competent qb and he didn't get played, who's to say it's not the same old song and dance next year?

I'm pretty sure Sunday is the deadline.

Sunday is the deadline to declare but he can change his mind before the 18th as long as he doesn't hire an agent.

When the opposition can't move the ball at all and my team still had to settle for field goal attempts 6 times I don't think i would talk a lot of offense smack.

Shep is not going to declare for the NFL on the promise of being an undrafted free agent. That's insane! With a good passing attack next year, he could be a first rounder. The boy may be alot of things, but he ain't stupid.

both of them would be crazy to come back. les miles ain't gonna throw the football. all he wants to do is run. why would any great receiver want to come to lsu. they should go to boise state, florida, south carolina, bama, or at least to a school that will open up the offense. not a school that only throws thge football when they get behind in the score.
