They are still living under the umbrella that Lee would not have made a difference

Its all they got, now that JJ has proven once and forever that he was the wrong guy. They dont want Lee to redeem himself, because JJ will never get another chance.

JJs memory is tied to the BCS debacle. Lee not so much

No telling how good Lee can be once a real QB coach gets to work with him, JJ cant get any better because he is already great, Just ask him.

Somewhere out there, Jamie Howard is laughing at all of this and feeling pretty good about himself.

Thats a great example, I think Lee is a smart football guy and can make the reads and throws, he just needs alittle work on his footing, and for some reason most Qb's whove came to LSU under miles does not improve in that department. I would not be shock to see Lee catch on with a team, but it isnt gonna happen with Jefferson ,i could be wrong ,but a preson who thinks their already great can't be taught much.

You should go start another thread about how the SEC Championship is meaningless, and how Les kept Lee off the field because he KNEW Lee would lead a comeback.

I feel like I am witnessing your descent into a mental abyss. You should seek counseling, all bullshite aside.

I understand he had all the strengths of the team to help him (great D, great special teams, great RB's), but he did a great job.
Don't most great QBs benefit from their team's strengths? And doing a great job - isn't that exactly what a team's QB is supposed to do? Too bad the HC didn't get that memo before Monday night.

I hope he goes off, gets the MVP, then goes on to have a HoF NFL Career.

I hope the same of every player who wore the LSU uniform with honor and dignity.

Him, Jefferson, Randle, Brockers, Claiborne, and everyone else. Well done, young men. Well done.

you must have missed when Peyton Manning schooled brent Mussberger on this topic. you would be surprised how wrong you are.

There's a big difference between throwing off of your back foot as apposed to throwing while moving in the pocket or on the run.

Obviously after reading some of your post, you seem entirely unable to separate the differences. So just continue to twist someone's words to make them fit your uneducated argument.

Btw, it was Gary Danielson Manning said that to, not Brent Musburger. At least get your facts straight before you spew your uneducated garbage.

Peyton said 75% of his throws come from improper footing, under pressure.

That was immediately translated to "Peyton said he throws off his back foot 75% of the time."

And he wasn't even talking to Brent Mussberger. He was talking to Gary Danielson.

So CptBengal got it about as wrong as he could.

Why am I not surprised?

listen to manning, he says in THE POCKET, it isnt always a possibility to step into a throw.

But keep up the false negative memes on the kid. Still doesn't matter....

FACT: He own the second longest streak in LSU history without an INT.

FACT: He was invited and is playing in a senior bowl.

Next you'll tell me how JJ is mobile and JL gets sacked.

yeah, imagine that....and JL steps into his throws when he is able.

you people and the need to pull the kid down. All he has done is what was asked of him and play lights out this year.

Don't worry, I'm sure JJs invite to a senior bowl is in the mail.....

Some of you guys kill me with this talk like J Lee is so affraid to get hit that he can't play. I'm sure in the first 8 games of this season including ones against 5 top 25 ranked teams there were no defenses trying to sac the qb and he did not get hit. BS...(he won all 8 games and scored over 40 pts in all but 1) Most of those comments stem from the Bama game and guess what, Jefferson looked like a scaired rabbit in the championship game against Bama so how about give some credit to Bama D and stop badmouthing Lee for his play in part of that 1 game.

That's one of the chief criticisms of Lee is that he throws off his back foot, regardless of pressure.

He has learned to throw that way, but it hurts him at times as he tends to float passes.

That isn't an insult, it is just a legit criticism.

He sure has.

Why would JJ get invited? He didn't see the field until UK.

talking about JL's accomplishments is insulting a player....

you sure have a moronic definition of insult.

a legit criticism would be if he did it exclusively. He doesn't. Go watch the WVU game again...steps right into most of his throws.
