People can talk about the lack of D but come on with one week to get it together Lee ended up passing one TD to a reciever from William and Mary's, and another TD to a reciever from Sacred Heart... Take that! :nana:  :geauxtigers:
Two good drives with two TD passes, looked good considering the circumstances. :nana: :geauxtigers:
Hey at least we had the UL-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns Win their Bowl Game in N.O.

That game was ranked the second best Bowl game of the season by ESPN I believe.

Someone needs to put together some Zach Hype video's, to get some fans excited and help ease the pain of last week.
Lets hope Les starts planning for this game tomorrow... or maybe he already has? that may be the reason for his trip to Houston to talk to Shep!!!

Then he goes to personally visit Shep, and looks like he has made the save of his career!

Do you think Les went after Shep on his own in an attempt to start working towards next year already, or do you think he was nudged by the AD or other upset supporters?

I think it was Les looking forward but have been asked the question so i thought i would bring it up.

Good for JL, Hope he shows off what he can do. I also like the Pic in the caption. It looks like the one play vs WKU where Lee ran the option and picked up quite a few yards with his feet (that was on his way to the last TD drive he led for LSU I believe - but could be wrong about that)
Some of you guys kill me with this talk like J Lee is so affraid to get hit that he can't play. I'm sure in the first 8 games of this season including ones against 5 top 25 ranked teams there were no defenses trying to sac the qb and he did not get hit. BS...(he won all 8 games and scored over 40 pts in all but 1) Most of those comments stem from the Bama game and guess what, Jefferson looked like a scaired rabbit in the championship game against Bama so how about give some credit to Bama D and stop badmouthing Lee for his play in part of that 1 game.
quote:

dude our offensive production shot up when JJ took over. Don't believe me check the damn stats. we had a couple of our better offensive games every

If you look at stats before the first Bama game JL led offense averaged 39.25 pts per game in 8 games against 5 ranked op. After the first bama game JJ averaged 39.60 pts per game in 5 games against 3 ranked op. Yeah production really shot up.
quote:

I felt like it would be unfair to him with the pass rush that he would sustain to put him in

I call BS, if it would be so unfair why did you put him in the first Bama Game? Is it a different pass rush than before, did they recruit some NFL players since our first matchup this year. That being the case if the pass rush is so unfair for Lee why subject JJ to the same abuse. I think JJ has grounds for a lawsuit if he is tramatized by playing in that game and Lee was spared the trama.
quote:

Ware also blew the block on a blitz when JJ got hit on his throw to Landry. Ware makes the block, Tigers get 6 points there as Landry had steps and the ball was going to be on the money.

On the money like every other pass he threw in the game?
I heard somewhere that Bama asked Lee if he wanted to go in and take a knee for them on the last play of the game. :banghead: :banghead:
Wow, I am totaly different than most of you. I think we could have won that game with any one of our QB's. You guys saying none of our QB's could have won that game are sad. I guess we didn't go 13-0 through the rest of the season and never really beat bama the first time either??? come on people we got out coached. we had the talent we needed but just didn't produce.
[quote]I really felt bad for the kid when he was booed by the fans in his home state.

I don't think he got booed. The crowd was showing their displeasure with the coaches decision.

I seriously doubt that the ULL fans are in mass hating on LSU. Exactly where are all of you running into these ULL fans with a big chip on their shoulder??? I'm sure there are a few just like there are a few holier than thou LSU fans that will never support any smaller Louisiana school. I have lived in Acadiana all my life and have not seen the LSU hatred that is being talked about. Since the name change there has been a big push in the local area to boost support for ULL but why is that a problem? are there not efforts to boost LSU support and draw as many students and fans into the school as possible for the betterment of the school?

I hear what you are saying. "Go Cajuns" But I don't expect to see much love on this board.
Thanks for the heads-up! I am keeping my eye out for a replay of the Bama game. I would like to watch that one a little closer now.
