I think I'd rather have Schottenheimer, for no other reason than he's young and likely not clash with the current staff in place.

Yeah, I won't question Saban's judgement though regardless of the hire

I can imagine interviews with Saban as being very demanding

I wonder if his desk and chair are on a pedestal to make him look bigger

I wonder if he uses his little door opening button to impress the coaches like he does the players

He probably has his own entrance to his office as well

I agree... don't really know anything about him but he is young & energetic & would probably be a good recruiter for us.

Brian Schottenheimer is a disaster. Dirk Koetter has proven himself has a capable offensive coach and would be a far better choice.

again, idk much about either but the jets have been much more successful on O than the Jags & Koetter obviously couldn't do much to help Gabbert.

I have looked at the offensive stats for boths offenses this year. Neither are that great, but neither had the best of situations.

He didn't help Gabbert at all. Is Gabbert to blame or Koetter? Who knows.

As a jags fan I didn't care for Koetter but thought Del Rio maybe held him back. However, even when Del Rio was fired our offense was predictable. No creativity in the passing game and never open receivers.

maybe this year isn't the best example but the jets made a pretty good run into the playoffs the past 2.

Koetter had hardly anything to work with in Jacksonville. Rookie QB & receivers that had been cut from practice squads of other teams. No OC had less talent than DK. MJD and that was it.
