Les Miles should be questioned every single day, by every single media person, that ever interviews him for the rest of his life, about why he refused to allow Lee a series to spark the O, simply based on what Lee did to get the team to a position to play in the NCG.
No way anyone should forget. No way anyone should give him a pass. He placed one player's welfare above the good of the team. Unless or until he can provide a reasonable explanation as to why, he should be hounded about this until the day he dies.

After watching the video, don't see the big deal. Other than it was a player's father asking the question. Nothing here, imv.

10-4. Agree but I have no issue with the question.

Way he presented it. Clearly too emotionally involved to be in that situation. I'm sure miles is glad he's done with T bob.
And I'm sure the Hebert family is done with LSU while Les Miles is here. CLM made a lot of boneheaded decisions last night that will come back to bite him in the arse. How many more Terrance Tolliver's do you need out there bashing Miles before it becomes a problem.

I cut Bobby some slack. As a father, I am convinced he was speaking as much from his heart as he was his head. Rather than repost, here's my thoughts from the Scoreboard thread...

He didn't ask anything wrong or out of line. frick being politically correct. Les deserves to be asked tough questions.

Bobby should have asked him how many sacks a QB has to take to make him nat a moble QB...

Exactly the opposite. Granted he could have found a way to shorten it up, but very professional that he asked a question nobody else was going to

les should have fired back "well, considering jordan had the man your son was blocking in his face in .7 seconds, i don't think jarrett would have done much better .. "
Unless the LSU watergirl was tackling JJ that wouldn't make much sense. T-Bob did not play. Both he and Lee should have been given a chance. Certainly couldn't have performed worse than the others and both paid there dues.

Bobby Hebert interview w/ Coach Miles
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I found nothing at all disrespectful or unprofessional about the question or the way he asked the question. It was a bit wordy and on the long side, but.... it was a good question. One that was on everyones mind, and CLM gave what I consider to be a poor answer... And I dont believe that to be the reason for one second! For him to try and blow that smoke on the fans adds more sting to the situation.

Hypothetically, let's say JLee has syphilis and couldn't play. Or maybe he had a nervous breakdown. Wouldn't Miles be correct, and even noble, if he kept that to himself to protect the kid? Who knows why Les chose not to put him in. Surely Les is smart, wants to win even more than us, and has more info than we do. Maybe, now that the seniors are no longer dependent on the coaches, we'll start hearing some inside information on this. Until then, I am continuously amazed at how poorly JJ played throughout his career.
