Thank you coach miles for believing in the players

Thank you not benching JJ. As stupid as it seemed in the moment, it will pay dividends in the future. You don't know how much players appreciate that..that even in their darkest moments, that their coaches will always have their back. Recruits saw that, and the younger guys saw that. The seniors will remember that for life, and surely JJ in the midst of his misery, will feel forever indebted to coach miles for that. There may not be a better coach to play for in america. But we need to sure up our offensive identity
Thank you JJ for the 4 years. You had your up and down for years, but have lead us to 2 SEC championships and 1 BCS championship game. You got your fair share of criticism, some of which was just, alot which wasnt. IMO, your development was stunted the minute you had to burn your redshirt. You were turned into something you aren't, a runner. A pocket passer you really were. You and Lee may have not have gotten the best QB coaching the last 4 years, but no one can question the heart and effort you played with. No other QB I bet the player rather win with or lose with. Glad that Miles decided to let his leader fight until the end. JJ,I feel for you this morning, as it was not all your fault, as much as it was one of the worst offensively called CFB games in history. But as the leader, you shoulder this loss. Hopefully it will make you a better person and player in the future.
With all that sad, we got beat by a better team. Hurts to say, but if you didnt see it in the first game, then you had the purple shades on. Our incompetent/inadequate passing game/QB play got exposed when it mattered most, and it was something our coachign staff had gotten away with for 4 years. It catches up with you. And in a championship against arguably one of the best CFB coaches of all time, ith 50+ days of prep, it would have been near impossible to cover our biggest flaw. BAMA exposed Tryann for not being as great in man coverage as the world thinks he is (shocker ). But our defense honestly played as well as you could for as dead as our offense was. Their effort wont be forgotten. Sad way to end the season, but we have a raw defense coming back. LEtS keep our heads up, you cant win all the games.

I didnt know JJ contributed to that team as a SR in HS. Interesting.

Recruits saw that
So when Miles tells them they can contribute right away, they won't look at him and say "Like Mettenberger did?"

Wonder what that huge recruit Zack Mettenberger thought about Les Miles sticking with Jefferson? Remember when Mettenberger was told that he would have a chance to compete for the starting position? Remember when Mettenberger went all season long and only throw a couple of passes against Northwestern St? Remember when Mettenberger just wanted to do something, anything, other than hand the ball off to the fullback with 7 minutes left in the game at Ole Miss, so he ran a qb bootleg? What if Mettenberger was given a chance to gain game experience passing the ball, would Les have put him in last night to try the simple forward pass?

So why did that happen to Lee? Won't recruits see Miles not having Lee's back.
Thread fails

doesn't it cut both ways? what about randle not being involved in the game? shepherd? what do they think about the coach not involving them in the game just so someone else who sucks can stay in the game?

JJ was Miles guy. JL wasnt
and JJ > JL
I don't even know why that is ever even discussed. Our playbook shrinks with JL.
If JJ is a C- for passing, then JL is a C+. If JJ is a B- for running, then JL is a D. Ill take the C- and the B- everytime.

It looked to me last night that alot of guys couldn't beleive that Lee wasnt getting a chance. When they showed the sideline, they didnt seem to be impressed! How about after 3 qts of shite, try and do something to shake things up. Thats what a coach does.

It does but theyre effectiveness is dependent on play calling. They are as competent as their playcalling/QB play is.

You are one dumb MFer
JL = ALL SEC, and most efficient SEC QB 2011, undefeated since 2008
JJ = last night

Doesn't make sense. You play your best players and take non performign players out of the game... Agreed you give chances but JJ was on his 9th life after dismal performance against Georgia. It was apparent that the offense needed a spark.

WTF? Dude we had maybe 10 plays last night. Did you watch any of the games prior to LSU/Bama part I?

is that why they were talking and tweeting after the game about being in shock that lee didn't get in?
