Are you serious? I've never said that JJ was any good. He and JL are both average at best. Neither was the kind of QB to win that game.

And no I don't just like dual threat qbs. I'm ready for Mett and Kiel.

Any improvement over a bad qb would have helped. Geez, Bama's defense wasn't that great. But JJ was that bad.

We will never know how JLee would have done because Miles was too stubborn or afraid or on drugs to do so.

Wow, I am totaly different than most of you. I think we could have won that game with any one of our QB's. You guys saying none of our QB's could have won that game are sad. I guess we didn't go 13-0 through the rest of the season and never really beat bama the first time either??? come on people we got out coached. we had the talent we needed but just didn't produce.

The whole team played awful. One player wasn't going to change anything.

JJ WAS the offense.. He was responsible for over 70% of all the plays.. Who am I supposed to blame? Ware who touched the ball 3 times to JJ's 14? How many turnovers did Hilliard have?

JJ fumbled 3 times and had the worst INT I have ever seen in my life.. Instead of running for 20+ yards he threw the ball at his blocker.

THEN he comes on the air and has the fricking nerve to claim he played a good game? You cant make this shite up. He played the worst game I have ever seen any QB have in a Tiger Uniform then claims to have made the right choices?

You blame the defense who was on the field for 3/4 of the game due to JJs inability to get a 1st down on one of his 31 out of 44 JJ plays? they held Bama to FGs all game long until they just wore down. We were still in the fricking game in the 4th qtr IF we would have made some change. You blame our special teams? Who had one bad punt? Yea you can certainly blame coached but hey they are told how great JJ is (BY JJ) so what else should they believe?

Don't get me wrong. I think we should have tried Lee anyway, but I just don't think it would have mattered. We played so bad all-around it didn't matter who was taking snaps.

The thing about competition is this; two well-thrown completions by Lee could have snapped the team out of their funk, just like the great defensive plays they made in the first 'Bama game, or the punt returns by Mathieu in the last two games. The momentum in football games can, and often does, swing on one great play. Maybe Lee makes that play, maybe he doesn't, but he should have been given the opportunity after all he's done for the program.

We were out-played, out-coached, out-prepared, and out-focused in every part of the game. We got our asses handed to us for 60 minutes. Alabama was the better team and they deserved to win. There was no QB on our team good enough to win that game for us.

Agreed. First and foremost, Bama had a great game plan, and every single Bama player executed it well. Frankly, we'd have needed a Tebow or a Colt McCoy behind center to move our offense against their D.

That said, we had nothing to lose by putting in JL for at least a series sometime in the early second half. I seriously doubt the results would've been much better—I think he'd have gotten his head torn off by Bama—but .... we'll never know.

One player did change everything. His name is Jordan Jefferson.

We could have had Drew Brees come out of the stands and would have still lost that game.

I can accept the fact that we lost, but it is HOW we lost that pisses me off. Didn't even give Lee a chance.

ONE player was chosen by the coaching staff to account for 71.5% of all offensive plays. One player was chosen to run almost 3x more than any other REAL RB on the team.

If you honestly believe that JJ wasn't the instigator of the embarrassing performance we put on last night, you're clueless. It isn't his fault though; he shouldn't have been on the field.

I'm so proud of our defense. Tbey were exhausted but kept fighting Alabama. If we had anything resembling an offense, we might have had a chance.

That's the problem, we will never know. Would it hurt to start JL in the 3rd quarter just to see if he can move the offense. We were only down by 2 scores. If JL falls flat, at least, at the very least, we knew for sure it was not our night to win.

bullshite. The D played it's fricking arse off, and if we had played offense, that game would have been neck and neck down to the wire. Bama had a masterful gameplan for JJ and he clearly was incapable of doing anything. If JL had been given an opportunity and completed anything down field, they would have had to stop cheating up so much. Who knows who would have won, but the threat of a passing attack that JL might have given would have made it a much much different game.

I heard somewhere that Bama asked Lee if he wanted to go in and take a knee for them on the last play of the game.

Sorry but QB was the major factor in our loss. Spin it however you want. If people want to give JJ credit for winning the first game the pissed off fans can sure as hell put the blame squarely on his incompetent shoulders for this game. You talk like Lee was some scrub. He had one bad game this year and many good games. We would not of beat Oregon or WV with Jefferson leading this team.
