... at least according to the Weenie board.

I admit, I enjoy their sour grapes, but has anyone heard anything about this?

I seriously doubt a college marching band can "prevent" an NFL team from warming up.

quote:

Oh did you all hear the classless thing LSU's marching band did last night? Now, I am a huge Saints fan, but this was out of line. According to Steve Wyche of the NFL Network the LSU Marching Band decided to get in a practice and keep the Detroit Lions from warming up. As much as I love the Saints, I HATE this behavior by LSU. I also think it was classless of the Saints to allow that. The Saints don't need LSU to cheat for them. As I've told the story before, my mom was a Tulane fan and my dad is an LSU fan. Because of that fact my preference has always been with Tulane, but I would root for LSU when they weren't playing each other. But I am thisclose to telling my Dad that he's on his own. I am getting sick of LSU's arrogance and classless behavior.

Their football team is a joke and they want to cry about some banners...maybe if they had a history and a team worth a damn they wouldn't care if their whoppin 2 banners are removed for a game that has nothing to do with them.

From what read, the Lions had ample field to warm up. Stafford chose not to because of the noise.

Also,

UMMMM..... I was at the game and the lions warmed up just like everyone always does.

The tigers played a pregame just like at any college game.

The idea that the band kept the Lions from warming up is BS.

Both the Tulane Fan and the dude from the NFL network are idiots.

We did run into their practice time by like 15 min or so but it was no where near intentional. They were screaming at us to get off and everything

Does he really think LSU band can just walk on the field without permission and start practicing?
