Everyone is expecting the option to be LSU's bread and butter and Bama has been practicing defending the option. I think LSU needs to pass more and not because we need to actually pass but the one thing that Bama can't defend against and we can really hurt them is by us dropping to pass and JJ scrambling. That is how he hurt them in 2009 and 2010. On 11/5 we didn't pass very often and consequentially JJ had no scramble opportunities. JMHO.

Wear Bama's overrated defense down.

I just hope we gain more yards than they do.

Max protection on passing plays and let our WRs and D. Peterson find holes in their D to sit in.

No turnovers, contain Trents rushing yards, win third down wars.

Dry hands before handling trophy, the crystal is slippery.

Redzone efficiency will win the game for one team.

I am curious to see the film breakdown at 10PM on ESPNU. The little film breakdown that I have seen so far, the Bama safeties really are overcommitting to the line of scrimmage. They tend to try to disguise by playing back but by the time the ball is snapped either one or both or usually at LB depth or ready to come hard off the corner.

I hope we win by 1 point or in OT.

That would be harder for the gumps to take than a 2 score or more win (which it will probably be anyway).

frick a gump.

I hope it as well. Bama missing the extra point would be spectacular!

We need to defend the damn screen to TR. If you limit the run and take away the screen, you shut them down.

This is huge. (that's what she said) We have to be able to pick up 3rd and 4/5s to sustain drives. And we have to force Bama into 3rd and longs and get pressure on McCarron and get off the field. If we can win the TOP, I think we'll pull away in the 4th like we have been all year. But we have to stay on the field on offense.
