What can LSU do to be better in recruiting?

CLM and staff are very good and this post is in no way a knock on them. I'm just wondering what we can do to be even better.
We have a coach who's winning % is up there with the best and his sideline demeanor is about as cool as any coach I've ever seen. He is playing for his 2nd BCS trophy. The players seem to love playing for him.
With everything going our way on the field right now...it seems that we would be having an easier time with our La guys? Reading a rumor that Hill was waivering...made me want to puke. I could maybe understand this if we were a 9-10 win team but we are friggin like 25-2 over the past 2 years and arguably the best program in the nation right now. We will also be pre-season #1 next year. That should be VERY easy to sell.

They could start finding out who all the Rival 250's girlfriends are and start giving them scholarships

haha be less successful recruiting BAMF running backs will help us recruit other BAMF running backs.
Teams often see the rewards of their championship season the year after they win.
See our 09 class being amazing, and our 08 class just being standardly good.

#1 team in the land, deepest team in the land and another top 5 recruiting class coming in.
What are the struggles you speak of? Not enough stars for you?
God star gazers suck.

LSU does fine recruiting. Saban is one helluva closer, and I don't think anyone will top him. LSU really doesn't have a recruiting problem.

Dude......LSU recruits as good or better than any other team in the country. WTF are you talking about? Do you not see the studs all over the field for y'all?

I like our unheralded recruits. Less arrogant more hunger

This board is good 10 months out of the year.

Who said anything about stars? I simply think that our program is in way too good a place to be getting played by kids that obviously don't want to be at LSU. I'm wondering what we can do better on the recruiting front.
If anyone thinks that our coaches can't do anything to be more successful at recruiting...you're wrong.

I really do not understand people like this? Are you an Alum or a Wal-Mart fan? We have just gone 13 and 0. Hawthorne and many other inside the program are saying we are DEEPER than ever!!!! So, what Collins isnt coming! Loston is going to playing his spot anyway! Also, Bourque leaving so what Hillard is going to own that backfield for the next couple of years! These kids are changing their minds because they realize they may not even play next year! They want to play and they are not going to on this team! WE ARE LOADED!
I'm not worried about a couple of kids, let them go our Program is just FINE and these kids we have coming are going to be just more talent to an already AWESOME TEAM!!!!
We are going to be the FIRST BCS BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONS!
Let Saban have his recruiting titles all take the BCS ones!!!!!!

We are playig for an undefeated national championship on Monday, our recruiting is fine.
The world is not ending because one hometown kid chose to go to Bama.

I'm an Alum...graduated in 1990. I would be very surprised if I don't pay more income tax than you.

Once again i will say what others have posted before, there is very little, and i mean little, difference in the quality of the top 5 or so teams. Rankings at that level are strictly judgemental( like all of it). As long as we continue to haul in top level classes and fill our needs we will continue to fight for national championships on the field.

seriously no disrespect intended but PLEASE GET OUT
I'll take the Hat's recruiting classes over ANY AND ALL classes the past 7 years GTFO
Seems like people forget that we got SAM MONTGOMERY, GUNNER KIEL, RYAN BAKER, RUSSELL SHEPARD, PATRICK PETERSON, JARVIS LANDRY, KENNY HILLIARD, FREAK, TYRANN, ERIC REID, and MANY MORE STUD recruits GTFO GTFO

LSU is known for having depth, which scares off some recruits who walk into a starting spot.
