Ok since you are out on the road away from your families doing in home visits, why dont you tell me what you can do better on the recruiting front. Oh wait you are sitting behind a computer asking stupid questions and making asinine comments about our coaching staff and how they need to do a better job. GFY

I'm cool with it, I will be out of Houston for the next two weeks but would love to meet with you at Cyclone Anaya's Midtown to make this bet happen!

I'm cool with everything you said up to GFY. Then I want to put my foot up your arse. What makes you think its OK to make comments like that over a fricking post that you don't agree with? Did you even read my OP? I made several positive comments about our program and asked a simple fricking question. Punks like you just like to pile on when you think it makes you look cool. You wouldn't say GFY to my face so don't do it on here.

I was fine with ur op. It was the comment about thinking the coaches need to improve and u saying ur wrong to the other poster. I think ur wrong and a fricking idiot. These guys take time out from their families go spend time with these kids families. We run 2-3 deep at every position. Also louisiana hasnt produced top tier qbs and linebackers in years so naturally we have to go oos for those prospects.

We just pulled the #1year qb away from Notre Dame. That never has happened before. And a coach that has parkinsons and has a wife with ms did it. They work their asses off and sacrafice a lot for 17the and 18the year old kids. So no i do not think the coaches can teally improve on the recruiting front. The only 2 things that would help us is to not be located in baton rouge and to cheat more.

One more time...stop with the personal attacks. You might be right. I manage a team of 40 sales guys for a large public software company and I look at these recruiting battles much the same way as I approach our business. We are starting a new fiscal year and I assure you that I will be talking to my team about "getting better" in 2012. I see our recruiting challenges as being very similar. Times change and we must also change with our approach. The LC situation made me seriously wonder if we have come to a time where we now must focus on extended families of recruits. The Bourque/Hill siutation is making me wonder if our coaches are really on top of this.

Wellllll, I can certainly understand how you're better qualified to judge high school football players than LSU coaches....

Add another ace to the staff...about all you can do.

People point to how great we are now but if we keep losing blue chip prospects to rivals like Bama...it is eventually going to hurt.

We have depth NOW and partly because of this was when Porter was recruiting coordinator he brought in some ridiculous guys. Wilson seems to be on that trend too but I honestly think Porter was better. He could solidify the instate guys AND go OOS and get a beast from Texas.

Most of the SEC is getting a lot better in recruiting while LSU is kinda just staying the same. We just need one more ace on our staff with what we currently have, IMO. I think next year we'll have a ridiculous incoming class though. When you really land recruits is the year after a NC because it is fresh in minds.

Rumor has it 2014 will be one of Louisiana's best recruiting classes ever (if I'm not mistaken). Imagine going into that recruiting season having won back-to-back national championships. Can you say dynasty?! It's a great time to be an LSU Tiger.

Well what the frick are you doing at that dead end job? Go apply at LSU, theyll kick that recruiting loser Miles right out of there and well be so much better for it. Seriously what are you waiting for, go get that job!

I spend ~15 days a month in EMEA, APAC and across the US. You GFY! Don't project your miserable life on me. And I never said that our coaches were doing a bad job...I asked "what can LSU do to be better in recruiting"? I'm thinking that you are ignorant and my point is well beyond your ability to comprehend.

I have no coaching experience so I don't think that would be an option. Who said anything about me being in a dead-end job. Where did I call Miles a "recruiting loser"? Why is it that so many of you idiots feel the need to make personal attacks on an LSU fan? I graduated from LSU, have paid for 4 season tickets for 14 years, and donate to LSU every year. Who the frick are you to call me out? It's impossible to engage in dialogue on this board without a bunch of miserable (uneducated) MF's jumping up your arse with no real justification.

Is this thread real? What planet are you from? LSU is top 5 in the country at being a perennial recruiting power. Put gun in mouth and pull please.

This was a good post until the last comment. I agree LSU pulls in a top 5 class annually and is loaded but it does become concerning when you lose the top player in the state for the 3rd time since 07 and 2nd time in 3 years.

One thing other than cheating that separates lsu and bama is they spend 900k on recruiting and LSU spends 450k according to a recent report.

Logic on this board? You have to pay 10 dollars a month for that.
