I can't lie. I'm very nervous.
Like most posters, the mere thought of losing this game to a team we already beat, at their stadium, makes me ill....
But at the same time it also reminds me of how sweet it will be if we win. A huge "frick you" to those entitled bastards and their fawning media.

Too much on the line to be nervous. If you want to see what happens when you get nervous under pressure, watch the kickers from the bowl games, or the 5th of November.
Nervousness becomes uncertainty becomes weakness becomes failure.
Doubt yourself and you will surely fail, because you have surrendered in the playing field of the mind. Only when much is ventured can much be gained.

That's the thing the stakes are so much higher than just winning it all. Like other people said, the sheer thought of them winning makes me want to throw up. I was in TTown for the Nov 5 game, I need to see that same delusional shock in those gumps faces with 100x more LSU fans behind me!

The game is a toss up in my opinion; Bama will be a tougher opponent than either Okie St. or Stanford would've been. So this game ain't a gimmee ... but I have a lot of confidence in our team.

Exactly. I was explaining this to a Big 12 fan the other day. I was explaining to him the entitlement mentality of Bama, their delusion, the media bias, the corruption in the SEC, etc.
Of course, they could relate with the UT fiasco.
Either way, he finally understood when I said, "think of this this way. You are a Cowboys fan. Imagine the Cowboys going through the playoffs winning all the tough games on the road, then being told, 'OK, now you have to play the Eagles/Skins/Giants' for the Super Bowl".
It makes no damn sense, but then again, when the likes of ESPN run CFB, you have to expect entitled teams to be in a different playing field than everyone else.

Not nervous at all. Lsu has improved more than Bama since the last game and we have found a weapon that Bama can't match and that is Hilliard. Ithink LSU wins the game rather easy. Same kind of script as other games this year. This thing could get ugly. All the pressure is on Bmam to prove they belong here. They come out tight and LSU comes out with a purpose, saying we should beat your asses earliar and NOW we ARE.

I'm pretty confident about this game, maybe it's b/c is at the Superdome. LSU wins 17-10.

I'm going to be nervous no matter what....however, this LSU team is on a mission and the hat will have them loose and ready to play...
the gumps on the other hand are going to be tight

I am so damn mad I could eat nails
I am sick of these guys and I believe the Hat will have them ready and we win by at least 10
No way the Tigers are not just as angry with the insults they have had to hear till the 9th

I honestly believe and expect us to win and leave no doubt this go around. If there is one thing I am somewhat "worried" about is JJ being able to throw the ball around enough to take exploit thier LB and S's playing tight trying to stuff our running game. But, JJ's past performances when he has had a month to prepare helps to ease my mind.
It comes down to JJ and the gump qb performances...

some of the best results are achieved based out of fear, desperation, nervousness, etc. It is a motivator, and not necessarily a bad one.
I chuckle every time i hear a young whippersnapper say something along the lines of "doubt yourself and you will surely fail."
What comes first, success or confidence?

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

The only thing I'm nervous about is the possibility of us starting slowly as we did in the last two games. Obviously we get stronger as the game goes on but it would relieve a lot of the anxiety if we could come out "fired up" and make a statement very early this time! This would put more pressure on AJ and I don't believe he will handle it on such a large stage..especially with Saban going crazy on the sidelines.
No doubt, they will come out guns blazing.
