One of the apt. complexes I work at have a large mole problem....Most of them die during floods.

Maybe run the water hose in their tunnels?

Tried the water, you end up with alot of holes in the ground. And moles are still there.

I had a huge problem with moles in the past. Even worse I have three labs digging for them and tearing up the yard. As mentioned by a previous poster, you have to get rid of their food source---grubs. I use spectracide granules. Wal mart sells it. I also mix a bag of over and out that is year long treatment for fire ants. I apply this three times a year. (so much for year long treatment) In the spring, mid summer, and in the fall. Never have read where this is an acceptable mixture, but have used it for years and it works. Spectracide is in a reddish orange 20 lb bags. No moles in my yard for years. Good luck.

I like the idea of blasting tunnels with 12 gauge.

Several years ago I bought a liquid, connected the bottle to a waterhose... sprayed the area... they disappeared.

I don't know where you are, but I bought it at Pest Stop on Oneal in BR.

Good luck.

Smoke bombs work but cut them in 1/2 or thirds and try and find as many holes as you can. They do not move too far so if you find fresh holes start there.
