How about naming a building after him, maybe when/if we renovate or rebuild Middleton or Kirby-smith?

After retirement of course

I love Miles, but academic buildings should be named after academic figures. I'm not that crazy about naming them for big $$ donors either.

Les needs to win 2 or 3 more NC's and retire here before we start thinking about naming stuff after him.

State law forbids the naming of any state building, bridge, park, etc after any living person, other than those allowed through exceptions made by law.

Portions of a building, i.e. rooms, labs, lounges, wings, floors, etc, can be named after living persons according to the Attorney General.

Renaming a building after others built it and dedicated it to someone else is IMHO chicken shite.

Plant an oak tree grove in the old Alex box parking lot, name it after him

ETA: some good Louisiana sod would also be fitting

I would love to see them dedicate this championship game as, "Win One For Bubba" inspired by this article.
