the mississippi river i10 bridge could be renamed.
les miles bridge.
The bridge is named after three separate Horace Wilkinsons, all politicians.

Coaches should be honored when dead or retired

Rename N. Stadium or Nicholson Ext. after him
I like that idea, I do think he would have to retire at lsu and be the winningest coach in lsu history though.

How about naming a building after him, maybe when/if we renovate or rebuild Middleton or Kirby-smith?
Renaming a building after others built it and dedicated it to someone else is IMHO chicken shite.

I think we should give him about 4-5 million dollars a year. That would be a hellova honor, I wished I could qualify. Way down the line when his resume has been completed, we can decide what to with the "Les Miles naming thing".

Plant an oak tree grove in the old Alex box parking lot, name it after him
ETA: some good Louisiana sod would also be fitting

If anyone deserves a statue it would be him. but to answer your question, probably Miles Field at Tiger Stadium kinda like Florida's stadium

For get names and statues, just a huge over sized bronze hat with LSU on the front of it.

Find out the dimensions of Saban's statute and make Les' twice as big...
Posted on 12/9/11 at 7:55 pm to jeffsdad
still wouldn't be the actual height of miles.

Shaq has a statue.
Of course Shaq has donated a lot of money to LSU.

I would love to see them dedicate this championship game as, "Win One For Bubba" inspired by this article.

For real tho, a statue doesn't fit miles' personality. Just assholes like saban need statues to validate his assholism. Also I think you have to be dead to have a public building named in your honor. I'm personally pulling for "Jarrett Lee but ultimately Jordan Jefferson field at Les Miles stadium"
