He's having a good year, but it's a little bit of a surprise to me. I'd think he'd wait until next year if he thinks we're going to open up the passing game a little more with Mettenberger.

If he gets 1st or 2nd round, he should leave.

no way you declare with a 2nd rd grade, that's silly.

I could see him 3rd round no earlier right now

He should stay bc he can be top 5 top 10 pick in the 2013 draft

I disagree with that. If that is as high as he is projected he would be a fool for going. A bad performance at the combine could drop him big time.

Claiborne is bad enough, I had hoped we would keep Randle when he wasn't in the top 5 of WRs.

His stock is only going to grow dramatically with Mett.

Lord I hope so. He wore us out!

maybe he's tired of run-blocking and pretending to go out for passes lol

And there are 3 big body WR's that will definitely go ahead of him this year, possibly 4. He should definitely come back.

Maybe. He'd have to adjust to a new QB and adjustments made in play calling for a new QB. Plus, as you mentioned, he's a had a good year even with our sub-par passing game.
I think if he impresses at the combine. He'll go mid-late first round, early 2nd round.

He should go. We never use our recievers except for blocking. I wish we had a better passinggame for the guy

Mett needs to go up to him and say "I can make you a first round pick."

Randle is a mature man. If he were my son, I would encourage him to leave for the draft if he were a likely draft pick, even in the later rounds. The only reason I would encourage someone to stay in college would be if I believed they were immature and needed more growing up to do before being exposed to the temptations and glamor of professional sports. Randle, it appears, is more than ready.

I already said this a million times, he is probably leaving.
The risk is too high for him to come back. A good combine will probably put him in the late first round even with a deep WR class.
Why should he come back in a run oriented offense? LSU will be breaking in a new QB next year. The jury is out on how good he'll actually be. One injury to QB and RR is fricked next year because seriously doubt JR and SR are ready to play QB. He also risks injury. So if your grade is a late first round or second round, why not leave? Stock can improve based on combines. If he has a bad combine, his stock was never going to improve. His risk is too high to come back. Rookie salary caps also make it to where unless you're in the top 10, you're not going to get a huge payday anyway.

Passing attacks that hope to get 100 yds game = WRs will run the other way.
We are a run oriented team. And that is never going to change.
