I think it could be the team that hits the next level with the right coach.

Big money, faithful fans, money, facilities, money and more money.

And only if Mack Brown doesn't retire.

I was just making this argument at work today. It appears they are really ready to start fresh...new conference, new coach, and there's talk of some serious facility upgrades.

With the recruiting pool they have and the right hire, they could make some noise really fast.

Certainly in top 2 as far as most dysfunctional athletic departments looking for a football coach

I think it takes a certain type of coach that will succeed there, one who can easily accept their traditions. I always thought that an alumnus would be the best coach for A&M, someone that has been through everything and thoroughly loves the Aggies. RC Slocum was so successful because he was at that University for so long, but as I understand it there is no hirable coach from within. A texas bred coach would also do well there. Also, a lot of $ seems to do the trick but doesn't always work.

Maybe at this moment but I think that in the long run PSU is the much better job.

Not often you see a former player offering $10,000 to be the one who gets to drag a high placed university official off campus. Things are messed up at A&M.

Hunter has a temper. He was an NFL lineman. It's an emotional time. I think he was unprofessional in this instance especially when a couple hours later Sherman talked about the amazing athletic department we have.

Sherman would highly recommend the job to any coach. And most coaches would take it because we seem to be trending in the right direction and taking football very seriously
