El Tapatio, for Mexican food. It's behind the Taco Bell across from the mall.
Charlie's, in Springfield. Get the 16 oz ribeye. It's cooked like you order it, and I've never been able to finish one yet. Also, seafood is very good. May be a wait though.

I thought most places put the steak in a bin and you got what you hoped for.. You telling me some fancy smancy places cook them to order? Must be expensive.

Buddy's Bar & Grill on S. Morrison Blvd
The crawfish bread appetizer was awesome and the steak was really good.
Pretty nice decor for a Hammond hole in the wall.
