Where to go for a really good bloody mary in NOLA?

I've been on a major Bloody Mary kick lately, and have come to find that Lucky's on St. Charles by far has the best one. That I've come across so far at least. And at $ 6.50 for a double relatively inexpensive as well!
Thoughts on where I can find a good spicy BM?

had the one at Boucherie a couple weeks ago. they use BBQ sauce (which was a first for me). super spicy and delicious.

definitely first time I hear of using BBQ sauce in it! Definitely going to put that on my list of places to try. I went to Rendezvous, and I always find they put too much vodka in the thing

Jill. The last time I went it was pretty crowded though. It was during the LSU v. Ole Miss game.

ah. not really a place to expect a great bloody mary. they pour to get people drunk. and I'm sure they used some kind of pre-mixed crap. love the Vous, don't get me wrong, but you have to temper your expectations if you're going to order anything not basic.

Yeah, I stuck to beers after that first one. I definitely enjoy going there. Then again I'm a big fan of more laid back easy going places like that, but it's also nice to try and find a place like that, that serves quality drinks too.

Seems like it would. I usually don't drink them outside of my house because I'm not big on brunch and definitely not on top of my list when I go out at night. Had one at St. Marie recently that was pretty good. Little too watery for me though.
I prefer a homemade bloody mary on a Saturday or Sunday morning, relaxing at home or at the tailgate.
