Jim Hawthorne was on and he made the point that there are no superstars on this team. After Jim left, Mike said he disagreed in this respect: Every player on the team is a superstar. Therefore, no one player can stand out because they are all great. He said it was something unusual at LSU that you don't see in college football anymore. He also said that while he doesn't know how things will stack up with respect to the greatest of all time talk, that they are already "physically" one of the greatest teams of all time.

This group is special because it is a collection of superstars who mesh together as a team.

He's jockeying for a job when the fans run Miles off after losing his first game, after this year.

He and Miles march to the same drummer? Perhaps he likes the way Miles handles the media? A lot of reason why Leach would like the tigers.

The only person who can answer the "greatest of all time talk" is moffitt.

He trained those canes in 00, 01. He also trained the 98 Tennessee team and of course the 03 and 07 lsu teams. There is a reason everyone wants moffitt and why saban could only get his assistant.

I LMFAO at anyone stupid enough to say he is overrated.

He creates monsters, plain and simple. I would like to ask him which team he thinks is better though

I think there is not one person that cannot be replaced on this team. I think each player on this team knows that. Ware,TM,etc. I think they know this is a special team and I they feed off each other in big games and hell every game as a matter of fact.

Meh, he'll settle for OC when Stud leaves for Ohio State.

Moffitt really believes in these players and he and the chief are on the same page when it comes to defensive players. It's no mistake that this defense resembles those of the canes.

We have a remarkably strong and deep team. I would have to think he would say this year. Remember his tweet before the season about the hay being in the barn.

Or when we realize Coach "toss-dive" Stud isn't the answer, if Krag gets worse. Leach's O, Chavis' D and Miles' recruiting would be a dynasty like Miami in the 80's. At least until someone got caught getting paid.

No doubt, its the chemistry..... you could have a team full of amazing athletes and not be very good. These players believe in the coach and each other, on top of that foundation, we have some very talented athletes playing for a single cause.. I have said it all year, they are something special

This is something Saban knows and you can tell by how he's been acting. Saban will not admit it publicly, but you can tell he's not sure how to beat us. Saban's mantra has always been each player winning his own battle. Well against LSU it's not possible. Not saying LSU can't be beat, just the reality of how good each player is on our team compared to each player on Bama.

What has changed my opinion of Les completely is how he has made this team greater than the sum of its parts. That's really saying something when the "parts" are so exceptional on their own.

They have to win these next two games, which I believe we will then I believe we are going to have wait for 10 years or so to see if we have any Hall of Fame type superstars on this team before anyone declares us as the best team ever. We are definitely in the conversation as long as we finish this out - - Which I believe we will

I'd rather have more of a running game/ball control/clock eating offensive coordinator to go with Chavis's usual "bend-but-don't-break" defensive philosophy
