has no business playing in the national championship game"

For the record, I have no problem playing Alabama again. In fact I'm on record begging for a rematch.

That said, I'd honestly like to know how Bama Nation feels about Saban's blatant hypocrisy.

And does anyone think that there's a single member of the press anywhere who -- at anytime between now and the release of the final BCS standings next weekend -- will ask him if he still stands by that? Which is it, Nick? Be honest.

Can anyone find irrefutable evidence that he actually said this?

Where has he said we're worthy? Not saying I don't think we are, because we are... but we're talking about a NON record of what Saban said vs another non record of another thing he said.

I havent heard saban's two cents on this year yet.

What's he supposed to do?

Saban: Well, you know back in 03 I said that a team needed to win their conference, so I don't think this 2011 bama team deserves to play for the BCS title.

The Harvey Updyke's of the world would be calling in death threats.

And btw, this thread indicates that you actually really DON'T want Bama in the championship. You can be on record for saying whatever you want, but psychology 101 says you're easy to read ;)

I keep seeing the same shite posted, and always without a single link or source...When you google the phrase, the results are all from the last week or two, and all from message boards.

According to a thread on the Tiger Rant, Les said that while at Okie St.

I think this is another example of someone making up sources on Wikipedia. Not the first time many have relied on false information posted on what can potentially be a dangerous website.

From an Okie State Board:

quote:

I used Factiva to search for anything in The St. Louis post-dispatch with the word "saban" on or near dec. 8, 2003.The article cited in the wikipedia page did not come up, nor did anything with that quote.

I honestly would like to know how you feel about blatant lies. This still can't be cited, and didn't exists before yesterday.

Urban Legend. Some of these LSU fans have forgotten what it's like to be a winner.

This LSU fan doesn't remember him saying that. Would also have to see a link to believe it.

Saban's blatant hypocrisy.

Blatant hypocrisy is preaching against screwing your secretary after checking out of a hotel room a few hours before your sermon.

Having an opinion and changing your opinion years later after gaining more experience in the matter is being open-minded. Didn't you learn that in college?
