Dear Tiger Nation, here is why you should beTHRILLED for another "shot" at Bama

* I'd like to preface my thoughts by mentioning that no one ever said life was fair, so all you Tiger "fans" about a rematch being unfair to LSU, buck the F up; it's going to happen. Deal. Shouldn't we be the bigger fan base in wanting to play the best team out there? I wouldn't expect that for a minute from the Finebaum/Saban-worshipping gumps. They're pompous blowhards. They're weak. Let us not be, shall we? *
Look, we all know Bama is the second best team in the country, why even bother denying it. Yes, we beat them at their house, but everyone else in the country has lost to at least one worse team than they did. I would just want to play the best team, period. That way, there are no arguments, no quibbles, no "What if"s. The only undefeated team left standing. The system worked. On to next year. As every college football fan's true Champion. Kings. Immortal.
Even should Bama win, they will not be able to claim anything resembling the same. They'll forever be remembered as tainted goods. "Co-champions." Not even SEC Champions. They merely tied the season series. See, even if they win, they lose. Think about that. You can be damn sure that they are.
And know this: Bama has its reservations about having to play these Tigers again. That loss rattled them. If things don't go their way in Nola, you can BET they'll have flashbacks, and just might implode, much like they did in Tuscaloosa. Watch the OT period again. It's stunning. Bama was too beaten down to put up any kind of fight. They simply had nothing left in them mentally, nor physically. LSU made their arse quit.
See, LSU has a swag that the Tide haven't been able to come even close to finding even after 11 games. The Tide have #stats, the Tigers have #SWAG (not to mention #stats as well). Exactly how many Tide players required trainers to get them off the field, anyway? Everyone lost count.
The Sporting News today nailed it when they named LSU the most UNDERRATED team in the country:
No.1 LSU. That’s right, LSU. Doesn’t matter the team, doesn’t matter the venue, doesn’t matter the emotion. Nothing rattles this team -- not on the field, not off the field (suspensions, tragedy, personal battles). You’ll hear a lot this week about Arkansas upsetting LSU and throwing the BCS further into chaos. Don’t believe it. No one is beating this LSU team – the rest of the way.
There will be no Arkansas, nor Georgia upsets. Deep down, even Hogs and Dogs fans known this. And it sucks. This 2011 Tigers squad is unprecedented. And on a Mission.
The Tigers are in the Tide's heads, now. Revenge factor works for exactly the 1st snap of the game, and that's it. Especially in the Superdome, where LSU is 2-0 in its last two games there, for 2 National Championships. The tickets may be divided equally between the schools, but they were for those 2 games as well. Make no mistake, this will be a home game for LSU. They beat Bama in their 101k seat house. The Tigers are in the Tide's heads, now.
We can only hope Bama is the favorite once again.
Should LSU beat them again, and become the only team in history to beat the mighty Tide twice in one season, this team will not only warrant *discussion* as *possibly* the best team in college football history, but the recruiting bounce throughout the country -- especially from prospects considering Bama -- is going to pay off, hugely, for YEARS.
Our beloved Tigers should welcome the Tide with open arms.
Then, when they get close enough at 19:30 hours 01/09/12 -- smack 'em in the mutherfricking mouth.
Again.
I'm rooting hard for the Tide in the Iron Bowl. Highly doubt they'll be rooting for us the next two weeks. See, they've got and we've got
Bring them to us.

Over the course of a month, that's a strength-sapper; hardly a strength-builder
It's incredible how fast you morons forget about winning the NC with 2 losses.

Spot fukin on dog! Count me all in. Whip them twice and it will be the greatest team EVER to play college ball. PERIOD!!!

Who should have won it the season LSU won it with 2 losses? And lets not pretend that 1 of those "13" isn't a 2 loss season...

We're not getting another shot at them. That implies they beat us the first time. What we have is the opportunity to beat them for the 3rd time in a row and remove any glimmer of superiority they have about their team of fate.
UGA and ESPN did this same shite in 2003.

Do you think we could see a split NC? Maybe a few polling companies would look at the body of work, the 1-1 head-to-head record on the season, etc. Not that LSU would claim it, but food for thought.

I agree...The sweetness of making Bama fans cry twice in a season, wining everything there is to win (frick the heisman), and going down as the most dominate team in college football history (maybe the best team ever) is the top of the mountain for me....unless we do it all again next year.
But for now, let's just put the Pigs in their place on Friday.

No, coaches are obligated to vote for the winner.
No need to worry though. Let them keep bumpin their gums about how Bama is the better team. How they should have won. Just like Ali did it to Liston, Just like LSU did to UGA, LSU is going to beat them so bad the second time around people will vow to never have a rematch again.

lulz AP isn't the national championship. I don't care what those fools in LA say. The trophy goes to the champ. Do they have a crystal ball for that season?
